Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.

13th Dec 2025 (6 weeks ago)NEVER USE YOUR MOVE! We had nothing but problems from the word go when renting with Your Move our flat was infested with flees and had rats when we moved in. After them claiming the flat was "professionally cleaned." Them and the landlord refused to supply us with a general waste bin which massive breaches any responsibility of duty of care. SInce moving out they've tried to claim half of our deposit back (£463.50) for "professional cleaning". Which is laughable considering the state of the flat when we moved in. How anyone could have possibly said we'd left it in a worse state than when we'd arrived is beyond me. Carpets stank, as I said before there were flees, the bathroom was covered in mould. (All of these things we actually paid out our own pocket to fix because they were so slow at getting back to us.) So if anything we actually left it in a better state than we found it in. When we delivered this argument to Josephine she acknowledged that we shouldn't have to pay this and asked "would you kindly be willing to contribute to 50% of the landlords costs?" Which seems more like she was seeing if we'd be up for doing them a favour rather than actually believing we were liable to expenses. We of course declined her ambitious proposition as we're not liable to any expense. She also failed to provide me with a receipt to prove that the flat had been professionally cleaned prior to us moving in. We've since had to raise a dispute with mydeposits and are also in touch with the property ombudsman in the hope that they can rectify what is frankly a fraudulent scam. Everyday I drive passed that flat and see the lights off and still empty it brings a smile to my face! :)

21st Dec 2025 (4 weeks ago)Robert in Goadsby Southampton office recently sold a property for an aging friend of mine. I live 120 miles away from Southampton so thought it would be a difficult process to manage. From our first meeting at the property Robert was always incredibly professional and nothing was too much trouble. Whenever we asked a question we received replies immediately. Unfortunately we encountered problems with the property as its old and in a very poor condition. Robert organised plumbers and locksmiths to attend the property within hours of us asking. I can’t thank Robert enough for the fabulous job he did in getting our sale completed in a very quick time

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Belvoir Southampton for their excellent service throughout our tenancy. The team has been consistently professional, responsive and supportive, particularly when it came to dealing with maintenance and repair issues. Any concerns we raised were handled promptly and efficiently, which made a real difference to our experience as tenants. I would especially like to mention Naomi, the Manager, and Helen, who were both outstanding, approachable, understanding and always willing to help. The maintenance department also deserves recognition for their reliability and professionalism. Thank you to the entire Belvoir Southampton team for making our tenancy a positive and stress-free experience. I would happily recommend Belvoir Southampton to others.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She was highly descriptive, painting a vivid picture of how the current family utilises each space, which helped me visualise living there myself and with my family. Lydia’s ability to convey the warmth and flow of the house made all the difference. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an agent who goes above and beyond.

5th Jan 2026 (16 days ago)rang on Saturday the 3rd Jan to book viewing for Saturday the 10th Jan to view property at 2 tumulus close ,had text viewing cancelled , rang and spoke with Tanya who was highly unprofessional and said vendor only wants to continue with people who are proceeding, probably blaming vendor for their convenience. Funny she knew we aren’t proceeding - Pathetic
