He went over and above and is so easy to speak to. If we are ever thinking of I wouldn’t go with anyone else. This was my first house sale and throughout the process they have been professional, helpful and kind. I particularly appreciated their timely communications and there was always someone on the end of the phone to help and advise me. I would definitely use their services again for business in the Billericay area.

They have been super helpful, kind as I have not been through this process before so have been walking me through step by step. I feel comfortable asking questions and they got my house on the market and people through the door viewing within a couple of hours. Just all round great service so far ????
15th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)We sold my parents property via Parabar Estates, our agent was Wayne. Sadly my Dad was diagnosed with an illness and passed away very quickly after he listed the property. Wayne couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding at the time. Once all was over Wayne set about helping us sell the property as quickly as possible, however being sensitive and understanding with my mum who was finding it all very hard. The process post offer of touching base with all parties pushing the sale forward as quickly as possible, was second to none and we couldn’t have done it without Wayne. We couldn’t say thank you enough to Wayne and are truly grateful for his guidance and help. 7th Jul 2024 (20 days ago)Abysmal service for tennants. Still awaiting deposit to be returned 6+ weeks later. Beware of this estate agent. This estate agent do not care for tennants I was without heating and hot water for months, their excuse is the landlord opted to self maintain the property. They do not help, do not reply to emails. More alarming is I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED my DEPOSIT funds out of dispute over 1 month later. I paid rent in full on time, left the property early on 25th May, 7th July I am STILL awaiting payment. I called 4 times over a week to get a reply which then received contradictory information on if the payment is made or not. I am owed £1,171 and so far told it is authorised and takes 5 days to clear. It's been 10 business days Absolutely unacceptable. I paid 3 months in advance + deposit of £2048 + guarantor. Yet they cannot reciprocate returning funds in a timely manner. Worst experience of renting.

13th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)We have used Nest to sell and buy our first and second property and would not use anyone else. They really know what they are doing and talking about. Their valuation process is great and would make any seller confident to list with them. They are always on hand to offer advice without expecting anything back!

17th Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)In times like this when renting a property is literally a nightmare, when agencies don't even bother to reply or answer the phone because they've got too many clients anyway, contacting Jemma from the agency was like seeing a light on the end of the tunnel or better to say an angel who finally woke you up from nightmares and gave a hope. So busy and under huge pressure, she always find time to answer your emails or call you back, she is an absolute jewel! Like my friend said and I absolutely agree, we just won a lottery with them! Edit: We lived(rented) in the house where many flats are managed by the agency and than you can get the clue why some people here are giving 1 star. I read those reviews and witnessed on my own eyes people from next door not paying bills, electricity cuts, bringing and leaving rubbish around the house and complaining that this government is not doing enough for them and they just want to live on benefits and agency suppose to give them accommodation for free??? It really makes me angry reading and seeing things like that, because if you are on benefits doesn't matter the reason why, you must understand that not even one agency will consider you in front of working people, simple as that, because you don't understand that you are risk for the people who work there, they are working for salary and they want to be payed for work they are doing, for service they are providing and you are expecting them to risk their work and life because of people who eventually might not pay the rent anymore??? Are you willing to work for someone who eventually will not pay you ? I know the answer on this one, because I'm not! I left the flat how I found it when my contract expired. We maintained it as it is our own property because we are living in it and we respect someone who owns it (same as you would expect if you give your car to someone, to fill it up, keep it clean and intact, no difference), and we got our whole deposit back on the same day our contract ended. So, don't believe some reviews here, it is not even worth it to read, because like I said, I witnessed the story behind that and how they left the property after they've got finally evicted (it was a relief for all of us in the building). Agency couldn't even place the property back to market, it was a nightmare. So they lost all that money for the rent, deposit is not going to be enough to bring it back for living condition and tell me, how people who work in the agency suppose to live? On benefits too? Sorry for my long rewiev, but someone independent needs to say the truth behind those 1 star reviews and according to this, I would just suggest the agency, "don't even bother with cases like this, because not even one agency does", but I know that you have more human approach like I said and that's why you are trying to help people even if they think that paying 6 month in front is a rip off, they don't really understand in what risk you are really placing yourself. BTW, we left the agency because our friends who left the country, gave us their property to live in, otherwise we wouldn't move from there, no chance. The best agency we experienced, honestly! Recommend!!!

13th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)We recently had help from Helen to rent a flat in the Leigh area. It was a really lovely and easy experience from the beginning of our interest to completion. Helen’s approach was perfect and what we liked was the speed of completion to rent our flat. This was helped by the portal they use where you can sign all contracts and docs and also the inventory. Helen was very accommodating with our request to move as quickly as possible! We definitely recommend!
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Michael Charles has been very efficient in finding me suitable tenants promptly and Jo has been great letting me know of any problems throughout the year. My 1st tenants left after a year as they needed somewhere closer to their work and the process of finding me new tenants has been very efficient. I would definitely recommend them

It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. They were dedicated, kept in contact throughout, were always available to speak to, were honest throughout, and totally committed to working with all parties to ensure the whole process worked. All of these qualities were appreciated and welcomed, but for me, personally, it was the personal touch that they brought and knowing that they cared. I really cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for me. Special thanks to Bradley, Tina and Gavin, but know the whole team contributed, so thank you.
