He went above and beyond to find a property for me and tried to fit my specifications as much as possible. I have never had such an outgoing and positive experience with an estate agent. I could tell he truly cared about finding me a place and not just doing a job. he should get a raise.

He was proactive, responsive, friendly and candid and we're so grateful for all his help. We can't forget Josh who worked so hard for us before our first buyer dropped out; and Will Brindley and his lettings team who always find us lovely tenants and provide help and advice when needed.

25th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Suggest you avoid renting through this estate agent at all costs, they were ok up until we moved in and then when we wanted to get any issues fixed they would take ages to resolve them (often months) despite following the correct procedure of creating cases through their website. For months we were left with windows that had huge gaps in them where the frame had bent - this was during winter so we had to spend loads extra on heating. We also had part of our ceiling fall down which they never repaired and a broken thermostat meaning we were without properly functioning heating for about a month. The worst part came when we left and tried to get our deposit back, it wasn't even a matter of them just taking loads of money off or anything, despite always having paid our rent in full and on time they have just been stalling and stalling saying they need to speak to the landlord and are still yet to give us an amount or give any of our deposit back. It has now been 8 weeks since we moved out and 5 weeks since we started asking for updates about our deposit leaving me no choice but to go through the incredibly time consuming process of raising a dispute with the deposit company which is a process that can take up to 3 months to be resolved and stirling ackroyd have now stopped even replying to my emails despite my communication with them always being very polite and professional. Absolutely dreadful service.
