7th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)AWFUL, avoid at all costs. Even if there is a house you are interested in, still avoid not worth the stress one bit. Go elsewhere. I would not even give them 1 star, but I have no choice. The stress they have caused me in my personal life is a utter joke. Never receive a call back, let alone an email response, told me the incorrect information which I have in writing but still not owning up to their mistake. Beth the 'Manager' does not know how to have a professional conversation, talks to everyone like their pal which is so incredibly off putting. Again no accountability from Will Jones, again or any call backs. I even asked for this to be passed over to a Senior Manager and still never received a call back and apparently she looks after 52 branches! They must all be awful. If I ever see the name Chancellors on anything, I will never EVER go anywhere near them and will make sure everyone knows about it. Respectfully it is like a bunch of children are running this business, which is rather sad really. They need training on multiple things and to hire new staff with a proper manner and know what they are doing. Had no choice but to leave this review, as it is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of them. 2 weeks I have been chasing this up. I have rung 5/6 times this morning first thing when they opened (so no valid reason to not answering - I even tried the sales line too) so I am adamant they are just ignoring my calls on purpose which based on my experience so far, I am probably not wrong about. AVOID!

The team was professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process, making everything smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear, and any queries we had were handled promptly and efficiently. We really appreciated their helpful and friendly approach and would happily recommend them to others looking to rent in the area!
18th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)Extremely unprofessional experience. After 7 months of ending our tenancy, we are suddenly being chased for additional payments that were never mentioned at the time or in any of the multiple emails we exchanged. Despite repeatedly reaching out back then to clarify matters, there was zero response. Now, long after we have vacated—and with several tenants no longer even in the country—this is being brought up out of nowhere. To make matters worse, the landlord and agency demanded an unreasonable amount of money immediately after we moved out and even went as far as threatening legal action. This felt completely inappropriate and unnecessarily aggressive. We paid our rent on time throughout and fulfilled all our contractual obligations. The poor communication, delayed claims, and overall handling of this situation have been incredibly frustrating. Please never rent with them. The worst experience.
