Evan and the team at Barnard Marcus were supportive, professional, and achieved us over the asking price for the sale of our property. Also, we have already recommended them to our friends as they are the best agent in Feltham!!

Now, we're in our dream house with a mortgage we're happy with and all before Christmas! They were absolutely amazing in every way and we can't recommend them highly enough. So professional in their dealings in how they communicated daily with us and when having issues with solicitors, were so reassuring and encouraging. Brilliant company and would definitely use them again for either buying or selling. If you are looking for an Estate Agency, Shaws Estate Agents are simply the best! 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

One advisor in particular; Chirag offered clear advice/details on the rental process, which made things easier to understand. Overall, the communication was professional, the process went smoothly and I would definitely work with them again.

While we proceeded with the purchase because the home fit our specific needs, the experience with the agency itself was far from ideal. The customer management felt transactional and overly pushy, lacking the professional courtesy I expect when making such a significant purchase. The aggressive approach made the process unnecessarily stressful. Although we bought the property, I would not choose to engage with Foxtons again to buy or sell due to the poor quality of service. The added rating of 3 is for a somewhat better experience with another Foxton team in the process.
26th Nov 2025 (21 days ago)Devenports is a 'no nonsense' Agency. There is a whole lot that sets them apart: Their presentation is way above average and communication is excellent. They are to the point, and make no false promises. Their expert team quietly drive the process every step of the way, smoothly passing it on from phase to phase . Nina drives it to the point of exchange and doesn't let go until it's 'in the bag'! It takes the stress off knowing someone's chasing solicitors, and all parties involved. I suspect they will soon be at the top of their game. Style......AND substance. Well done team! with gratitude, Jenny.
