29th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Winkworth Notting Hill are an outstanding Agency. They have long serving staff who know the market intimately and are quite simply at the top of their game. I have had a 20 year relationship with Winkworth: - First, as a rental tenant where they showed their class by treating us with utmost care and respect. - Second, as a landlord, where Winkworth handled everything proactively and efficiently. The longest vacancy I had was one week, thanks to the expertise of the Lettings Manager Lucinda Richardson and her team. The Rental Manager, Kylie Wright, was simply amazing over many years. Her and her team handled repairs and improvements on my behalf. Honestly never set a foot wrong and was absolutely reliable. James Paravicini managed accounts efficiently and was always available for queries or extra asks. - Third, when it came time to sell. Charles Erwin helped me with strategy, flat preparation, introduced an oustanding solicitor - Samantha Blakey of Merali Beedle - and guided me through the whole process. We achieved a strong price in a tough market to someone on Winkworth's books, without having to advertise the property. I could not recommend this agency strongly enough. Over 20 years I could not fault them. They have a convenient shop front in the heart of Notting Hill on Westbourne Grove. Do yourself a favour and walk in their to consult with their team about your needs. If only all real estate agencies were as good as Winkworth Notting Hill!

Rented a Flat from them and when I moved in, I discovered heating wasn't working, door opening intercom system wasn't working, poor water pressure, dripping sink faucet, tripping oven. No resolution has been provided, been living without heating for over a week in this cold weather. All I get is a typical "Sorry for the inconvenience" reply from them. Please stay away from renting or trusting them.

They were quick with their responses and had all my paperwork approved within a week of visiting the property. We managed to get approved all within a week and kept in contact throughout the process. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and professional, they were able to help me with any questions I had. Overall a seamless process without fault.

John has been amazing at dealing with any issues and the ability to contact them on phone, email or whatsapp is great. We had a power issue out of their control over Christmas and New Year, and their service could not have been any better. The tradesmen they engage are also professional and friendly with excellent standards - we couldn't recommend this business any more highly!

Ibby truly impressed us with his professionalism and has definitely been the best agent we have had the chance to work with. He managed to consider both our needs and the landlord's, resulting in a perfect deal on a fantastic apartment. We were also very happy with how Ibby kept us informed throughout the process. He made sure we always had the latest information and felt empowered to make choices, even outside of regular business hours. Absolutely recommend working with Ibby!

As a developer and a landlord with a number of residential properties across London, I initially met Charlotte as a tenant during her tenure at her previous agency. Upon meeting her, I was very impressed by her professionalism and ability to promptly address any issues that I flagged up during my tenancy. While disappointed to learn that she had been recruited by Sandersons and would no longer be managing the property I resided in, it served as a testament Matthew’s knack for identifying talent and his commitment to building a professional team around him – so I took note of this. Fast forward a few months, we have successfully completed a development project consisting of 5 flats in the W11 area. Having historically mostly dealt with an agency which is considered to be one of the top in the country as well as globally, we initially intended to engage them on a sole basis for marketing the flats with the view to let them out. However, given how impressed I was with Charlotte, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a conversation with Sandersons and consider them also. Subsequent to Sandersons’ team attending the property and making a very good first impression, we have decided to list the flat via dual listing with both our previous estate agency and Sandersons. My general belief before engaging Sandersons was that it really does not matter what estate agency markets the property - the reasoning behind it being that the prospective tenants access the same web portals to conduct their search. I was incorrect in this belief. Sandersons’ letting team led by Anna have managed to find tenants for 5 out of 5 flats in a brief stint the flats were on the market. I am yet to be able to explain to myself how they have managed to achieve this, however the result speaks for itself. They really do care about their clients across both ends of the market and I cannot commend them enough for their exceptional service.

19th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars due to the nightmarish experience with the sellers' solicitors throughout the entire process. Their questionable practices have made the situation incredibly challenging, potentially necessitating legal intervention, which only exacerbates the issue. While it's true that sellers have the autonomy to choose their solicitors, it's reasonable to expect processes in place to ensure they select reputable ones, especially considering the control exerted over buyers to prevent withdrawal before the exchange. On a positive note, Nick/Jamie provided exceptional support and assistance throughout the entire process, even extending his help beyond completion. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to others and would certainly engage with them again in the future, terms and conditions apply*.
