Emma and Ashley, who were responsible for my house sale, managed to get me a really good price for my property, above market value. They also were very supportive and easily contactable during the sales process, from initial offer through to completion. I also found the Foxtons Portal extremely useful in keeping up to date and tracking the progress of my house sale. Would throughly recommend to any prospective house mover looking for a friendly and professional service.

10th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Highly recommend KFH, Bayswater branch. Ricco Leslie and his team were really responsive on my need to vacate the property earlier than contracted. Rico was really helpful in coordinating the communication with the landlord and find the most beneficial solution for both sides. They were really good in replying fast to all my questions never felt disappointed throughout my nearly 3-year tenancy in one of their managed properties.

From the first (of a few different) showings throughout signing for our flat, every single person we worked with at John D. Wood was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process; especially considering we were new to the unique intricacies of renting in the United Kingdom. Jessie went so far above and beyond to understand our specific needs, preferences, and timeline, and was incredibly responsive to answer any question we had. Being new to the United Kingdom and London, her knowledge of different neighbors and renting practices was hugely helpful. We never felt pressured to make a decision on a flat and appreciated her patience as we explored different options. It felt like Jessie trusted the relationship we had built and trusted the quality of their units to find a place we loved, rather than feeling the need to sell us on a place that we didn’t. That was such a refreshing experience and one that made all of the difference. We knew that if we were taking time to view a flat, it was a potential winner. 10th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)I really appreciate Chestertons taking action based on the previous feedback. Agreement has since been reached and the deposit released. Previous feedback on March 2024: I've had some good and some bad experiences throughout my 1.5-year tenancy at a flat managed by Chesterons. Unfortunately it ended pretty poorly. Despite having handed over the keys at the end of January 2024, they have yet to complete the end-of-tenancy procedures and have been extremely unresponsive to email.
17th Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)Thankx to Zoe Bailey at Reeds residential in southend on sea, she went extra mile to get my family a place to stay, after 4months of searching for accommodation.most of the residential agency's could not help, even we had money to pay rent for 3 months. As first time tenants it was so difficult to get help from the agency,,we viewed more than than 50 houses In the past 4months, westcliff on sea. Leagh on sea, and Southend-on-Sea.. But we could notbe offered.. To my surprise most of the of the house we viewed are still empty and not occupied.. Most south end housing agency to be honest are very difficult to deal with and very unhelpfully. But Zoe Bailey at Reed residential and was super star for us..

So rude and it has really upset me. - you have just replied to me calling this a fake review, good try. This clearly happened to me otherwise why would I bother to write about it? I had to call my mum afterwards to cry to her because I had been made to feel so bad by this woman. That’s clearly her problem not mine.

I worked with the company back in 2019 - 2021 and left due to poor management. Staff were treated so unprofessionally and it started to affect my mental health. Recently the two owners parted ways and they reached out to me again and asked if i wanted to work with them again. They promised me things have changed and the way they work is much better. I clearly did not last long there, considering that i am leaving this review 3 months after rejoining. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and insights. From the moment I rejoined the company, I noticed a concerning lack of transparency and ethical practices. The management seemed more focused on making quick profits rather than providing quality service to clients. One of the most alarming aspects of this estate agency was their consistent disregard for laws and regulations. They would often cut corners and bend rules to maximize their own gains, leaving clients vulnerable and uninformed. The lack of proper documentation, misleading advertising, and hidden fees were all common occurrences. Furthermore, there was a prevailing culture of dishonesty within the company. Agents were encouraged to use high-pressure tactics and misleading information to secure sales, often at the expense of the clients' best interests. This not only tarnished the reputation of the agency but also created an unhealthy and toxic work environment. Another concerning aspect was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Many of my colleagues lacked the necessary qualifications and experience, which resulted in poor customer service and inadequate advice. Moreover, when faced with complaints or issues, the management would often dismiss or ignore them, leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, my time at this dodgy estate agency was disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression. The lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism made it impossible for me to continue working there. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly research alternative options.

Everything was clear, documented and exactly as described. Thanks Natalie for helping me find my new flat to rent and for taking me throughout the whole process from viewing, signing the contract until moving in with a calming beautiful smile. It is highly recommended.

This has got to be the most inept real estate service in all of Central London! I spent over half an hour standing at the property, completely ignored, with no one even bothering to open the door. The agent was nowhere to be seen—no guidance, no support, nothing for a potential tenant eager to view the property. What a colossal waste of time! And then, when all is said and done, all I got was a feeble "I do apologize." Seriously? Your apology is worthless at this point. A word of advice to anyone looking in London: steer clear of Jack Barclay Estates unless you want your time utterly wasted by the "best" renting company. Utterly disgraceful!

Throughout this contract period, Circa provided me with excellent services and most helpful assistance in relation to the letting of property. The team is professional and fair to all parties. They had done an excellent job in finding new tenant for another letting term. I thank them for the effort and assistance they offered and look forward to continuous quality services in the coming term.- 25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the condition of the property we recently moved into, managed by Foxton, particularly the Maida Vale branch. The experience has been truly disappointing and unacceptable. Upon moving in, we discovered that the apartment was in a deplorable state of cleanliness and did not meet basic health and safety standards. Despite having high expectations and being assured by your representative, Jack Stanton-Gleaves, that all necessary work and cleaning would be completed, we found the property to be disgustingly unclean. It is common sense to ensure a house is properly cleaned for hygiene and out of respect for new tenants. To make matters worse, Jack, who made these assurances, disappeared without a trace, and we later found out he had been fired. This lack of professionalism and the false promises made have left us feeling deceived and extremely frustrated. Furthermore, the overall lack of communication from your agency is unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and highlight these critical issues, my emails and messages have been consistently ignored, particularly by Paul Phelan and Karan Kumar. The absence of response is not only unprofessional but also shows a blatant disregard for customer concerns. This level of service and care from a company of Foxton's reputation is appalling and has caused us significant distress and inconvenience. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL THE COST.
