Please be wary of this company. They rented me a property with a malfunctioning boiler which set off my gas detection unit. I have written them an email which I will paste below, to my surprise they haven't had the decency to reply even tho it was sent 4 days ago:
Hi Adam thanks for the reply,
There is currently no heating or hot water to the caravan as the boilers not heating the water correctly even when the boilers on its not able to provide hot water to the shower. The plumbers not able to come out until Monday, this will be at least 96 hours to get the boiler fixed. This is in contradiction of a 24 hour period to fix essential services such as heating and hot water, which in tern invalidates the tenancy agreement.
As a result of the exposure of 34ppm carbon monoxide levels on Friday night I woke up at 4am Saturday morning not being able to breath and had extreme heart palpitations. I spent 5 hours in A&E yesterday as a result of staying in the caravan with unsafe levels of carbon monoxide I had to turn the heating off, the caravan is cold and damp with a musky smell, which intern produced an asthma attack.
I asked the owner to move me into a different caravan that didn't have damp, and a newer boiler. He said he couldn't as all the other caravans were booked up.
I have therefore been forced to move out of there yesterday, into a friend's house that doesn't have damp and has a working boiler.
The landlord has breached their implied obligation as per the Landlord & Tenancy Act 1985 and the Fitness for Human Habitation Act 2018, which invalidates the tenancy agreement.
I would like a full refund payable on Monday.
