21st Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

4th Sep 2026 (23 days ago)I used Nicholls Tyreman to sell and buy recently - they were excellent - they arranges lots of viewing and did a really good job of showing people the house. And when it came to dealing with holdups/ issues in the chain - Nikki especially was fantastic! She is exactly who you need to get things moving!

From start to finish, he was professional, honest, and so helpful — he kept me updated at every step, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.<br><br>Hassan is reliable, polite, and genuinely cares about doing things properly. He found good tenants quickly and handled everything with care and respect. It was such a relief to have someone I could trust to look after my home the way he did.<br><br>I would highly recommend Hassan and Move Up to anyone buying, selling, or renting out their property — you won’t find better service. 20th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)Have been waiting for two weeks for a response to questions I asked re repairs and lack of property income statements, terrible service since the business was taken over by the new owners. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
17th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)Don’t usually leave reviews but I rang about multiple agencies before this one I spoke to a lad named Hassan I believe and he was very well mannered and easy to speak to and also rang before and spoke to another bloke called jamyat who was also very welcoming.don’t hesitate to give them a try very friendly and helpful!

27th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from a professional estate agent.

11th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.

6th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.
7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
14th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)After over 6 months listing with other agencies and very little to show for it we switched to Haart and could not have been happier with our choice. Joe and Stewart have been fabulous and took our sale through to completion very quickly. Communication was flawless, we were kept regularly up to date and they gave great advice and support as the offer came in and sale progressed. I would 100% recommend them and we will definitely use Haart again in the future.

17th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)I couldn’t recommend Sarah and the lettings team at Bridgfords highly enough.<br><br>Sarah has genuinely gone above and beyond from start to finish and made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. As I work regular hours, she was extremely accommodating and even contacted me outside of normal working hours to work around my availability.<br><br>What has really stood out is that the service hasn’t stopped once the tenant moved in. Sarah has continued to keep in touch and check that everything is going well, which has been really reassuring.<br><br>We opted for the Let Only package, yet when I needed some additional help, Sarah even went out of her way to contact a contractor on my behalf despite this being outside the scope of the service we had chosen. She absolutely didn’t have to do that, but was still more than happy to help.<br><br>Sarah has been professional, responsive, approachable and genuinely committed to making the whole experience as smooth as possible. It’s rare to receive this level of service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah and the Bridgfords lettings team to other landlords.
