Their experience and reach to others within the industry e.g. mortgage brokers, was very helpful and positively contributed to the outcome. Tommy’s appraisal was a great first impression, and there was a clear distinction between their service and others we’d invited to appraise. They gave us actionable advice to prepare us for market and give us the best chance. This followed through to those in the office, who cared and knew about our sale in detail and gave us reassurance we were going to be well looked after. Thank you to Clare in particular. Andy conducted most of our viewings and was knowledgeable, and positive and we knew had provided an excellent experience for potential buyers, based on feedback. Finally, Will was invaluable in aftercare and kept us in the loop without chasing, a pleasure to deal with. An exemplary service from all and we’d have no hesitation in recommending them.

We booked the viewing where we met Susan, and we immediately became really impressed with her. 2nd Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)I instructed Keylocks to carry out a level 2 survey and was very happy with the report John provided. It was very clear and included a good amount of detail. John was also happy to go through any questions after providing the report. As a first time buyer I can highly recommend Keylocks.
3rd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)While in the process of purchasing a property through Brown and Co, I encountered issues regarding the legality of the build on the land. As a result, I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the process. However, I was disappointed by the way Brown and Co handled the situation. Despite their own terms, they refused to sell my property and terminated the contract. I found their actions to be unprofessional and childish.
9th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Be careful with your deposit. This company is very sneaky and will take at least half of it for 'cleaning' and minor damage which should come under wear and tear if you're an occupant of the house/flat for a certain period of time. They WILL NOT take this into account which is illegal. They will also avoid or defer discussions on the matter to other companies like DPS which makes it harder to claim your deposit back. They will also ignore black mould in a bathroom, even when asked to do something about it, and were slow to reply (weeks) on anything financial. Untrustworthy, unscrupulous and thieving.
15th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)I met with 3 estate agents and all were professional and offered a similar valuation. What made Pocock and Shaw different was Piers local knowledge and that they offered a 2 week withdrawal from using them. We did not need this as we had an offer within 2 working days of the listing!
25th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Absolutely Shocking, they ask you for personal Details to decide wether your good enough to view one of their properties and then they tell you the viewings are fully booked. How come there are many agents that don’t ask this information before a viewing?

4th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)A great experience as a tenant with this company for nearly 3 years. Always friendly, professional and quick to resolve any issues. Liason with the landlord was efficient too. Tenants and landlords at all budgets would be well served by using them - far better service than most of the high end providers!

It wasn't the most straightforward of circumstances given the current economic climate, but Lewis showed great resilience and achieved a great end result for us including the exact kind of buyers we could have hoped for.
