I've never experienced such slow communication with any other agency. It made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.<br><br>I would not recommend this agency.
24th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)We recently purchased a property through Jackson Stops, Newmarket and found the team friendly, attentive and consistent with communication.<br>Lottie recognised that we were motivated buyers, and after losing out on two properties took the initiative to show us something off market which turned out to be our ideal home. The customer service was great and we felt highly valued as purchasers.- 20th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

Whenever I raised a question/query he would get it sorted out and get back to me very quickly the same day. Adam was also very helpful. Thankyou Gareth, you’ve made a stressful process much easier.

This was a for sure reason in this property being second guessed by us prior to choosing. It never seemed to be a priority for them to meet us and make us feel welcome.

They went above and beyond to show me a property I was interested in, and made the necessary arrangements to secure it for me quickly. Michelle answered all of my specific questions about the property, and she went out of her way to make sure I had all the information I needed prior to signing the lease. She is the best! The process was smooth, and I am excited to be a tenant in the U.K!
3rd Sep 2026 (17 days ago)From the very start, Blake was extremely helpful in giving us tips on how to improve our house for selling . We took his advice and soon had many viewings and offers.<br>The other members of staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our main link was Karen Johnson and Sarah, in Karen’s absence, who both kept us updated regularly even when there wasn’t any particular new info, which helped a great deal just to be kept in the loop.<br>Thanks once again for all your help and I can definitely recommend InterCounty Estate Agents.
1st Sep 2026 (19 days ago)I have had an EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING experience with Tucker Gardner, and based on my experience, I would NOT recommend them.<br><br>When I initially arranged the tenancy, I was primarily dealing with Richard and Georgia, who were very helpful, responsive and proactive right up until the point I agreed to the tenancy and paid my deposit. Unfortunately, the level of communication and support changed significantly afterwards.<br><br>I was given the room in an unacceptable and, in my view, uninhabitable condition. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned and was full of dust. The bed provided was ripped and stained, and there were concerns regarding what appeared to be an infestation. After raising my concerns twice, I was promised that the room would be professionally cleaned and that a new bed would be provided on the 04th of August (5 days after my tenancy started) Despite these assurances, when I returned from work on the 4th August, none of this had been done. I had to repeatedly chase the agency for the next couple of days, and on one occasion I was told by a member of staff that they were new and would call me back after speaking to someone who could help. I never received that call back either.<br><br>The situation was very difficult as I had just relocated to Cambridge for a job and did not have a place to live, and on top of that had an injury, and had to make alternative arrangements to stay and commute while trying to resolve the situation as Tucked Gardner was unbothered and unresponsive.<br><br>Eventually on the 7th of August 2026 I received an email stating that I’d be relieved from the tenancy effectively. As I was away at the time, I returned the keys on 10 August.<br>It is now 1st of September and I have still received neither my rent refund nor my deposit.<br><br>I have tried calling the agency multiple times and have also emailed them, but have received no response. On 22 August, I finally managed to speak to someone named Henry, who told me that he was not aware of what had happened. He said he would speak to the relevant people and that I would be contacted by phone or email later that day. Despite this, I have received absolutely no follow up and nobody has contacted me since.<br><br>I have also already initiated the process of releasing my deposit through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, but I have still not received the money.<br><br>What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and accountability once I had signed the tenancy and paid my money. The initial level of service gave me confidence, but the experience afterwards was completely different.<br><br>I understand that issues can sometimes arise during a tenancy, but what matters is how an agency responds to those issues. In my experience, I was repeatedly left chasing for basic communication, promised call-backs that never happened, and am now still waiting for money that I was told would be returned to me nearly a month later.<br><br>This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a letting agency. I would strongly recommend anyone considering renting through Tucker Gardner to carefully consider the level of support they may receive once the tenancy is agreed and payment has been made.

We found the property that we really wanted and, although at the time it was already sold, Jade assured us that if anything changed she would 100% make it happen for us and we are now living in our dream home! Could not recommend Jade high enough. The personal touch you will almost definitely not find anywhere else

7th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)The house itself was unfortunately too small for us, but what really stood out was the excellent customer service we received from the very first phone call through to the viewing today.<br><br>We’ve been looking at houses and arranging viewings for several months now, and I have to say that Mark was by far the most professional and polite agent we’ve encountered so far.<br><br>He was a world away from the agents who simply open the door and leave you to look around on your own. Mark was genuinely engaged and enthusiastic. He took the time to tell us the story of the house, knew the answers to all our questions, paid attention to what we were looking for, really listened to us.<br><br>That level of care and personal attention is rare, and it makes such a difference to the house-viewing experience. Even though the property wasn’t the right fit for us, we wanted to leave this feedback because Mark’s professionalism and customer service genuinely stood out.

Nicola and Joe are a couple to mention they made it feel a very personal experience and done a great job but thanks to the whole team - they made sure I was kept in the loop of everything and was supplied with solicitors information aswell.
