23rd Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Only had one viewing. Very little communication - staff nice and tried but can’t really do much of a review as so little contact.
20th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)It is hard to know where to begin. I found the attitude of the senior staff at the Banstead office to be arrogant, misogynistic and bombastic. Despite often making major errors such as leaving the back door unlocked after a viewing or leaving lights on in the house so when it got dark the house could be seen from outside or on one occasion leaving the list of the day's viewings for the agent with names, addresses, emails, key codes and price limits on my breakfast bar- there was little or no humility or apology but rather a feeling that they were always right. They tried to pressurise me into reducing the price after just 3 weeks despite it being the middle of August and when they gave information to my ex husband that was not helpful I phoned to state it had caused an issue and they said, "It isn't my fault you are going through a messy divorce". They lacked all compassion, care and professionalism. I will never recommend them or go into their office ever again. It is interesting to note that when the house did sell it was not them that showed them round but myself (as it was a Sunday) and if it hadn't been for the estate agent I was buying from (Andrews) being so brilliant chasing up and down the chain I honestly think we still wouldn't be moved now.
28th Aug 2022 (4 years ago)Initially John Brown was the most professional of the agents I viewed and made the most sense eschewing estateagentese. They quickly found a buyer but she was very difficult and the sale dragged on over a year. However that was not of their making and they worked very hard for us. The first sale collapsed due to our purchaser's delaying. We stuck to our vendors and reconstituted the chain. Thanks to Mr Youll we got over the line
18th Jun 2022 (4 years ago)Wanted to view a few let properties. Was called and was told someone would get back to me after asking if I had pets and they never did. The property was advertised falsely too upon speaking with the agent.
27th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Frost Purley are the pristine , top quality , professional Estate Agents. Always polite and positive , excellent ideas on marketing , description and photography. All staff have technical , sales and legal knowledge and are just always “ on it “ , they always know the current situation and the next step , always think ahead for the Client. Achieved asking price in record time. It was a real pleasure with the very best result.

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
22nd Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Horrible experience with trying to get my deposit back (still trying to get it back to this day!). I put down the 5 week deposit for a flat that was advertised by Cavendish Cheam but had to back out due to personal circumstances. I understand that I cannot get back the 1 week holding deposit but for the rest of my money, it has not been returned yet. Daren has been claiming that I will be deposited the amount on certain days but has never followed through. It feels like I am being played at this point. Proceed with caution when dealing with this agency!
29th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)EVERYONE WAS HELPFUL IN ARRANGING A VIEWING DAY, AND ALSO WITH TIPS HOW TO SHOW OFF THE HOUSE TO ITS BEST ADVANTAGE. ANDY KENNEDY HAS ALWAYS BEEN MOST OBLIGING, AND CARRIED OUT THE VIEWINGS

Holly even offered to be a helping had when I was going through PND and that’s speaks volumes. They always look out for their clients well being. If i was to remain within London, I would not have parted with their services. They are the best
16th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)I second everything what's been said about Jo and Hallway! Jo wasn't our agent ( we were buyers ) so we were on the other side of the chain, but from the day she showed us around the house till completion day she's been on fire. Sometimes taking a simple information from solicitors took a life and a half and Jo was chasing each side like mad hatter. Whenever I needed an update or wasn't sure with something she's been on the other side from Monday till Sunday. Very patient with us first time buyers. Explained everything, always with details and even after completion she continuesly been there for us. I was feeling cared for although she wasn't even our agent. I am truly sad it's over and I won't have a laugh with this woman anymore ???? Love her sense of humour!!! Highly recommended

30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

The focus on the presentation helped get people in the door and I believe heled them see themselves in the flat. He was helpful through the offer process when I was keen to take the first one. I’m glad I didn’t.

31st Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
