Phoned them before Christmas. Spoke to a girl in the office there. I had a query about the rental or sale of a flat in their area. She was going to speak to the manager and get back to me. Still waiting. If they can't be bothered why should I be bothered about using them to sell my property.
We had a wonderful experience with Mann and Co. We used the south Croydon branch and the agents involved in our case were outstanding and professional through out, Lino and Robin are an asset to the company. And will definitely be using them again in the future as well as recommend my family and friends to use them. They made sure everything run efficiently and smoothly through out and we completed quickly even though the sellers solicitors were being a bit slow. Multiple issues with this company in relation to the letting of our property. Initially things were fine when we were being looked after by one of their employees, Danielle Denton. However, after she left the company things went rapidly downhill. Suffice to say we are in the process of writing a formal complaint to the CEO. The good news is that we managed to get in contact with Danielle who is now working at Bond and Sherwill in Coulsdon. We are now selling our property with Bond and Sherwill and couldn't be more pleased with the service and professionalism.

She was so helpful, She done for us a very good job, she is very professional, responsible, nice person. She find us a beautiful house from as dreaming , exactly what we was looking and expecting for. We are so thankful and we recommended her to all as friends. She treat all her clients as friends, even in the night time when i was call to Yasmina for help, she was happy to help as much as she can and explain all aspects of the letting process . They are absolute liars. They took 350 pounds for advance and stuff. We paid the amount and a week later that lady called and told my husband that our references had not cleared hence they can't rent out the property. My husband spoke to our current landlord and employer to asking why they have not given the right reference and they both told they didn't say anything wrong because we had always paid rent on time and stuff. Then my husband spoke to the letting lady again asking the reason she said for some silly reasons they can't reveal it. Lastly as we had no other choice my husband asked them to refund our advance deposit which we thought was for the property, they said that was the processing fees ....I mean who charges bloody 350 pounds for checking references in 2 days. They are absolutely crap no one should go to them.
As a first time buyer things can be overwhelming and a bit tricky but my experience with Foxtons has been awesome . I've found the team to be really friendly , personable and super responsive. Jenny and Simon have been great. They made the whole process from start to finish Seamless. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat
I would give it half a star if I could. Team were very friendly, but that was it. The service was disgraceful. At the time my partner and I were desperate to find a house to rent within a certain amount of time and we were assured that Foxtons would be able to find us a place with no problems.
The person that dealt with our case was quite young, inexperienced and unprofessional. We viewed a property that we were interested in and was asked to bring along documents and forms of ID so we could quickly get the ball rolling. After viewing the property our host was kind enough to drive us back to Foxtons so we could fill out forms. Throughout our journey she none stop talked about personal problems which I found unprofessional, alongside that she was constantly beeping her horn at other drivers.
Before we got to the estate agents she told us there would be no point in us filling the forms out and we didn't need to show her our documents which we found strange. She told us that Foxtons would be in contact with us the next day regarding the property we were interested in. We didn't get a call at all within that week; everytime I called Foxtons no one knew about our case. We managed to find a place at the very last minute with Acorn. They were fabulous. The following week I got a call from Foxtons asking if we found a property and that they would gladly be of service to us if we were interested in buying or renting. I was very annoyed as they didn't do anything at all. I would never go with Foxtons again.
After being with an estate agents for 7 months and not getting the outcome we wanted and feeling a bit disheartened I came home to find a compliment slip from Leigh Thomas at Truuli asking us to contact him regarding selling our house. We called him to have a meeting and we signed the contract with him that afternoon. We contacted our previous estate agents to cancel our agreement to give Truuli a try for 3 months. Truuli had our house on their books for a few days, without sellers even seeing any photos and just by word of mouth from Leigh and his team, we had 10 viewing on our first weekend of viewing. Monday morning I had a call from Leigh informing me that we had had 2 offers from the viewing that had taken place at the weekend. I was so shocked when he told me. Leigh went back and negotiated with the buyer for us. By Monday afternoon we had accepted the offer the buyer came back with. To say that we are happy with the outcome is an understatement. Leigh, Michael and the Team we would like to thank you. You are TRUULI a cut above the rest. When you showed potential buyers around our home, you really engaged with them and spoke about our house with such passion we were so impressed. I would definitely recommend Truuli to any of my family members and friend 100%.
