I was recently at Barnard Marcus to rent a property. Whilst there I was served by Tavon; he was very insightful and helped me find a house suitable to my wants and needs. The service I received was excellent and I would be happy to do service with the company again.
Disgusting service! So disappointed. Don't waste your time. No communication. What a terrible branch. Who gives such people jobs? I'm disgusted at their customer service. Please save your time and money and deal with another agent.
Had a few viewings with a dynamic young fellow called Bradley Snape.
Nothing was too much trouble. Impeccable in every way. Whether it’s his style, manners, personable and accommodating demeanour or just his thoughtful and considerate approach.
Either way I certainly hope he will be the one handing over the keys on when I move into my new home. Thank you ????
Do NOT use these agents!! They lack integrity, professionalism, communication and managerial skills, the list goes on. I lodged a complaint with these amateurs and it hasn't been resolved to my liking, and believe me, I had grounds for complaining.
They don't return calls, their emails are flooded with grammatical errors, they can't pass a message on to their employees. You really have to chase them up. Their mission statement reads, "“To be the most professional, caring and expert estate agent our clients, our community and the public come into contact with, whilst still ensuring that our commitment to staff training and innovation remains second to none enabling every client to have a smooth and stress free move.” What a load of flannel! Some clients may have had a better experience with Streets Ahead, but mine has been a complete nightmare.
The Lettings managers, George Potter and Daniel Woods both refuse to respond to my calls. Highly unprofessional and cowardly. A severe lack of attention to detail is plenty evident in their correspondence. Just an utter shambles if I'm very honest.
For those who have had a positive experience, count yourselves lucky because as far as I'm concerned these guys are complete cowboys. Unethical, unfair and unprofessional
Having previously had a bad experience with a well known estate agent, it was refreshing to work with Malcolm at Hyde & Rowe for our home purchase. He was was completely professional, and went the extra mile for us on a number of occassions. Faultless service and would whole heartedly recommend!
i am really unsatified and angry . We spend 4 days at Year s end 2018. The flat was almost OK for the family but i never get the warranty deposit back 250 pounds ( after more than 1,5 months and we didnt make any damage) How is it possible ? Sarah says several times money came. Back but is is not true. Other people from finance or administration never answer... I would advise other people not to go there... It seems it is a scam.
I just let our apartment via Bairstow Eves Purley Julie Goddard and Ignas Pilybas dealt with the letting. Very professional service I would highly recommend.
Just recently let a property through Bairstow Eves. Ignas was the letting agent. I fond him an excellent negotiator. He secured a discount on fess and on the monthly rent of the property for me. Ignas was very professional throughout our dealings and a credit to this agent.
Only experience I had that could have being better is being told there was issue with my wife's visa and then it was ok again. This caused my family huge stress at the last minute. This should have being advised earlier in the letting process and should have being researched properly. With that said things happen and bairstow eves resolved this quickly and efficently and am very happy now.
Alexandra was friendly and approachable from day one. The purchase ran smoothly and all my queries were answered without the need to chase up. I didn't choose to buy through Bairstow, I just liked the property they were selling. But they did very well.
Simply Incompetent , they never update you.
We were in the process of buying a property from them and we actually had to do their job to make it happened. It has been a nightmare dealing with them. They have no clue of what is going on, after waiting 3 weeks to have some update, we phoned them and the answer we got was "I have emailed the seller once 3 weeks ago but he did not reply so I will call them sometime this week". We knew more about the property and the buying process than them.
They don't even know what is going on the market.
Example: Stamp Duty is a big issue at the moment for banks as it double every 25 years for some properties. More than 300 000 people have this issue in the UK. When we told them if they knew about it, they replied "No, I never heard this. Stamp Duty is not a problem at all to get a mortgage".
Didn't know anything about the property (on a second viewing)
One more thing, we had a second viewing after making an offer and we had couple of questions such as "is it double glazed?""is it under floor heating?" and "is it 24h concierge service? " and the answers were .... "I don't know." or "I am not sure".
Also, the agent who was supposed to meet us in front of the property, was hiding herself in the entrance, under the stairs.. and she was looking at us waiting for her in the street but did not bother coming and say hi.
Lucy was great - kept the pressure on the vendor (and my) solicitors to ensure everything was done in a timely manner. Really nice person as well, couldn't be more helpful and made sure I knew what was happening through the whole process. A*
Booked for a viewing at 2pm one day earlier, arrived and waited till 2:10pm and no one came. When I called to ask, they told me the property can only be viewed after 7pm, which I got absolute no notifications before my arrival. Not sure about other services yet, but seen unprofessional and lack of respect already.
