I have had dealings with Hamptons for quite a few years and always received good service.<br>Lately a very sensitive situation developed, coming from other sources, which needed extra tact and diplomacy and Katie proved to be the perfect person, helping to resolve the matter fairly and easily.

9th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)Avoid them, rude and unethical practices<br><br>Avoid renting here at all costs. Our move-out and tenancy experience with this agency, and specifically our property manager Christina, was defined by rude correspondence, intimidation tactics, and highly unethical financial practices.<br><br>Despite paying our rent in full, they attempted to double-charge us over at checkout. Worse, they tried to unlawfully retain a huge portion of our deposit using completely fabricated charges. They billed us a huge "redecoration fee" for standard wear-and-tear and attempted to charge us for pre-existing issues—including carpet stains, curtains and sink scratches—that were all clearly documented on our move-in inventory. Christina even deliberately went back on verbal agreements she made on-site regarding these charges on painting. She even tried to blame us for pre-existing moth infestation on carpets and other issues during our stay which was documented on our checkin report.<br><br>Fortunately, we kept meticulous records and took them to the official Tenancy Deposit Scheme dispute service, where we won our dispute and forced the return of a major portion of our deposit. They prey on tenants who don't know their rights. Protect your money and peace of mind, and rent elsewhere.

From the moment we met the team, we felt confident that they would make it happen, and they absolutely delivered.<br><br>A special thank you to Arif, who has been outstanding throughout the entire process. He is incredibly professional, responsive and genuinely cares about his clients. Every message was answered promptly, every question was handled with patience, and it always felt as though he was selling his own property rather than ours.<br><br>What really sets Arif apart is that he goes far beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent. He not only managed the sale professionally but also shared valuable advice and recommendations throughout the process, all of which proved to be incredibly helpful. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

Lorraine was my main point of contact and was absolutely brilliant throughout both processes. Charlotte manages the letting side; she is highly knowledgeable, incredibly pleasant, and always goes the extra mile to help with any additional requests. Neal, Daniel, and Adam are also exceptionally welcoming and helpful every time I call or walk into the office. They operate as a seamless, cohesive team, and I highly recommend Daniel Adams for both sales and lettings.

Always happy to answer questions and chase all parties to push everything along. Can’t thank him enough.<br>At no point did I think I was on my own, I felt like the staff cared and were looking out for everyone’s best interests.<br>Happily would use again!
