20th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Based on our own personal experience dealing with the Head of Sales at Laing Bennett, we found all the hype and the high levels of service on offer fell way short of the mark. Two very basic oversights/errors by the person in charge of Sales really was laughable although the head of sales took exception to her shortcomings when notified by email. The key failure and final straw on her part was her failure to properly arrange photography and a floor plan in one visit. Instead when arranging the third party company to carry out photography and a floor plan, she actually notified the company to carry out photography and an EPC in error. We didn’t require an EPC as our current EPC is valid until 2028. This meant it was going to be necessary for a second visit by the same company to complete a floor plan so wasted time for us and the photographer.

We had dealings with two other members of staff from Laing Bennett when they came to get an overview of the property and we must say what a contrast, both very professional and switched on which unfortunately wasn’t the case with the Head of Sales. The many positive reviews of this company are undoubtedly genuine, as is ours but on our experience we would have to suggest to any of our friends or colleagues looking to move, choose an alternative agent.
25th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)We had quite a few viewings which resulted in several offers and an agreed sale.
1st Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)Libby was fantastic, very professional and patient. Took time to explain things to us to the best of our understanding. Will recommend her always.- 26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)As first time buyers the whole process can be quite daunting! We had first contact with Grace at Connells who helped guide us and she has been brilliant! As our sales negotiator, she has been very attentive, she provided supportive, speedy communication and has been so welcoming. Thank you for all your help!
21st Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Hannah at your move is fantastic! From start to finish. She made everything feel easy and helped when needed. Highly recommend seeing Hannah if you’re searching for properties. Even though I know longer rent through them she is still going above and beyond helping me with the end of tenancy stuff. Thank you Hannah!
8th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)After finding our dream home we had two properties to sell, Lawrence and Co sold both our houses in timely fashion.
Mark and Alexa came to visit and gained a full understanding of what it was we had to sell, one was very small and quite quirky, I worried it may be a hard sell but due to the beautiful photographs and good marketing it found a new owner. The other larger house again was presented beautifully for sale and we had one day of viewings.
They priced them appropriately meaning we had full asking price offers in both cases.
Jo and Sophie kept us updated on progress the whole way through, nudging solicitors along where necessary.
I really could not have asked for more, thank you so much
30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Couldn’t recommend wards enough, Romie helped me the whole way through and made it so much less stressful, the team are also great including Charlie Ryan and Myla. Thankyou!
20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Motis were easy to deal with, Deanna in particular was brilliant. She was very good at communicating with me throughout the entire process.
9th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Tersons were a pleasure to deal with and provided a friendly, professional service. I found the team approachable and attentive, with a clear focus on making the process as straightforward as possible. They were responsive to my questions and handled everything in an organised manner. I appreciated the relaxed yet professional approach and would be happy to recommend Tersons to others.
21st Oct 2026 (11 days ago)I can't say enough nice things about Folkestone Hunters.

We had an incredible run of bad luck (through no fault of Hunters, I should stress!) while selling our property with them - time wasters and chain collapses that really caused a lot of stress and would have caused lesser estate agents to give up on us and leave us languishing at the bottom of rightmove's listings.

But Geoff, Joy and David never stopped working hard on getting our house sold even when things looked bleak, were always available to talk things through (I'm sure they were sick of hearing my voice by the end of it all!) and were always so patient, kind and good-humoured throughout the process.

Working with them was a 10/10 experience during a really stressful time and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommended.
23rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Excellent. Lovely people. Swift & too the point.
30th Jun 2026 (18 weeks ago)After being let down on another viewing with a different company, Vicky Pluta immediately offered a viewing for the same evening on a different property and was extremely helpful. She answered all our questions, and even managed to organise another viewing so my partner could see the property too for the next morning. We’re so very grateful for her keenness to help, which shows by the fact we put in an offer on the property the next day. Highly recommend Vicky as your estate agent, a really lovely & informative girl.
22nd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Martin & Co are one of those companies that once found, you will go nowhere else. Their attention to detail, knowledge of legislation and expertise within the market, allied to value for money makes them a go to provider for anything and everything to do with property sales and lettings.
15th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)Very helpful, friendly and professional
13th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Acceptable experience
16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Valuation and actual property advert was initially 10k difference. I challenged this and after some time managed to get it back to valuation, which we sold at. We could have lost 10k due to this. Other communication errors throughout the selling process gave us concern and we didn’t have the best experience with their recommended solicitor either.

EweMove Sales & Lettings - Folkestone & Hawkinge
11a Defiant Close, Hawkinge, Folkestone, CT18 7SU(147 reviews)
5th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)Ewemove Hawkinge handled the sale of our Folkestone flat from start to finish with absolute professionalism - from initial appraisal in April through to completion in September. We met with 3 agents for valuation and felt that Damien gave us the best advice re listing price. The app they set up for all communications between us was excellent. They also were easy to get hold of if needed a call.
2nd Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)The market is slow at the moment, had better luck with the last property I sold through Mike's and Barr
31st Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)????? Highly recommend Akash at The Property Club

Akash recently helped me sell my property, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. He was highly organised, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly carried out thorough research before offering advice - everything was backed by insight, rather than guesswork.

His communication was excellent throughout the entire process: responsive, transparent, and professional. What impressed me most was the personal service. Unlike my previous experiences with larger high-street and franchise estate agents, I never felt like just another client. The difference in the level of care, attention, and expertise was genuinely noticeable.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Akash to anyone looking to buy or sell property. I look forward to working with him again on my future property investments.

Thank you again, Akash!
5th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)We recently sold our house with Simpson and Hall and I can't recommend them enough. Richard and Amy are so helpful and friendly. Amy kept in touch regularly with updates and made the whole process stress free and easy.
30th Oct 2026 (2 days ago)I honestly cannot recommend Bairstow Eves Folkestone highly enough. From beginning to end, the experience has been absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the service I've received.

A particularly special mention has to go to Will, who has been nothing short of exceptional. He has genuinely gone above and beyond throughout the entire process. Buying a house can be an incredibly stressful and overwhelming experience, but Will made me feel supported, reassured and looked after every step of the way. His communication, patience, professionalism and willingness to help have been outstanding. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making the experience as positive as possible for me. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to guide me through such an important milestone.

I'd also like to thank Claire for her lovely communication and support. It's been such a pleasure dealing with a team who are not only professional but genuinely lovely to deal with.

Buying my first home is such a huge milestone, and the team at Bairstow Eves have played a really special part in making it happen. I am incredibly grateful for all the help, kindness and dedication shown throughout.

If you're looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares about their clients, I would wholeheartedly recommend Bairstow Eves Folkestone. And if you're lucky enough to have Will looking after you, you really are in the best hands.

Thank you so much for everything. I'll never forget the part you played in helping me get the keys to my new home!
