Moving house can be an important and sometimes complex process, and his support helped make everything much easier and more organised for us.<br><br>We would also like to thank Aysha and Haydar for their excellent support during the pre-tenancy and contracting stages. They were always helpful, responsive and professional.<br><br>We felt very well looked after throughout the process and would happily recommend Winkworth Hackney.

Rashid the Agent who showed me the flat (and about 50 other people!!) was courteous, provided lots of information and transparent about the quirks and what the landlord was looking for. After my offer was accepted - Dimension continued to keep strong communication and was patient with all of questions.

Although I didn’t end up securing a property through her, she was incredibly helpful, friendly and informative throughout the process. As a first-time renter, I really appreciated how clearly she explained the new rental laws and everything I needed to be aware of. 10th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)My partner and I have had a nightmare with this estate agents. From the second we were accepted on our flat everything has gone very wrong. Mehmet and Reg are virtually impossible to get hold of and once you do get hold of them they don’t deal with the problem for days/weeks. We went to move into our property and found the flat completely filthy depsite them saying theres been a deep clean. We also have now discovered our carpet is infested with moths and had a they had put another peice of carpet over the top to cover it up. The landlords are completely innocent in this and is all down to poor organisation, communication and management from reg and mehmet . Would not recommend this company.

The whole process was pretty much done within a matter of days with zero stress! We have since moved into that flat and are absolutely in love with it. I moved out nearly a month ago, yet they are delaying the refund of my rent overpayment. Despite acknowledging the issue and promising it would be treated as an urgent priority, they have failed to release the money or provide clear answers.<br><br>Avoid if you expect professional service and timely accounting.

From the first meeting his attention to detail and professionalism was clear and this continued at every stage - from the quality of the online listings for my flat, proactive communication and project management of the process to a successful sale in line with the timeline and asking price I had in mind. It's a stressful process but was made infinitely smoother with Chris' help and expertise.

From start to finish, Matian was extremely helpful, patient, approachable and most importantly human. We never felt pressured, only supported throughout what could be a long and stressful process. 4th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)I was able to get my flat in Angel (let) with David & Astburys. Very smooth and quick process. I was assigned an agent, Vinay, who was very quick to let me know as soon as something I would like came on the market. I was able to see a place and have all referencing done in a day!<br>Vinay and his colleagues were very easy to get a hold of and accommodate well to your schedule. They made the process very easy, especially for someone who’s coming from another country. Thank you so much team!- 29th Sep 2026 (17 days ago)It was extremely frustrating to see the narrow-minded, box-ticking approach of the letting team that refused to properly consider my personal circumstances and unusual employment and tax arrangement as an employee of a foreign embassy, because I could not provide a standard UK payslip.<br><br>My application for a £1,927-per-month flat was NOT EVEN CONSIDERED on the basis that I did not meet their affordability criteria. Yet, apparently, it was not enough that:<br>• Due to bilateral tax arrangements, I could provide HMRC documentation showing a net income equivalent to the net income of the gross salary they required;<br>• My total income reported to HMRC was actually higher than the required level, thanks to additional, documented rental income from my propertieS;<br>• During their extensive financial vetting, I provided evidence of savings amounting to tens of thousands of pounds;<br>• I provided a letter of reference from the Embassy;<br>• I had been THEIR reliable tenant for years, consistently paying around £2,000 per month in rent on time.<br><br>It was particularly disappointing to see their lack of willingness to look beyond a standardised checklist and consider my individual circumstances and overall financial position.<br><br>A more professional and flexible approach is expected from a large letting agency, particularly given the emphasis in recent rental legislation on considering applicants' individual circumstances.<br><br>I was left with the impression that they feel safe with the assumption that being a foreign national I would not know how to challenge the decision or what steps I could take.<br>Uhmmmm! Well….
