She was easy to communicate with — always quick to respond and kept us in the loop without us ever having to chase. What I really appreciated was that the interaction felt caring. The properties we were shown were tailored to us and we got tips and help on our offers. Just a really kind, helpful person who made the whole process so much less stressful. We also had the pleasure of interacting with Isabella at our viewing and offer call, who was similarly kind and helpful! Would absolutely recommend!

5th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)I was planning to visit Mansion London Limited to discuss a high-end property I found on Zoopla (which was also featured in News Shopper). However, when I searched their 15 Stratton Street address to find directions for my visit, I discovered it appears to be a virtual office and mail-forwarding service rather than a dedicated physical brokerage. This red flag prompted me to do some standard due diligence, and I ultimately decided to walk away. I checked their publicly available Companies House records (Company No. 08294606), and their most recent filings show a business in heavy debt with significant negative retained earnings, zero physical assets on their balance sheet, and relying on bank loans and overdrafts. There is a very stark contrast between the elite, luxury image they project online and the actual financial health and physical presence of the corporate entity. For anyone looking to buy or sell luxury real estate, I highly recommend doing your own thorough background checks on the corporate entity before handing over any money, signing contracts, or trusting them with high-value assets.

28th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

17th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We were very happy with the services provided by McMahon & Partners. As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

3rd Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)I and a flatmate letted a flat for 3 years with no real issues. If anything came up that would require assistance with Fieldhouses response was always prompt and solved the issue we had. We never had any issues during our tenancy that they couldnt solve and I would say they were great in all aspects.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

20th May 2026 (29 days ago)Lara dealt with all of our silly questions with a smile. She was great with updates , even going so far as to call me when she was abroad on holiday. We found her to be kind and very professional but also down to earth enough we could have a joke and laugh when things were getting stressful. We are very happy with the 5* service provided and will definitely recommend RE/MAX to friends and family, thank you Lara ??????- 2nd Jun 2026 (16 days ago)We moved into our apartment nearly 3 weeks ago. We've had no hot water the whole time so I've been having to shower using a hosepipe on a balcony - for THREE WEEKS. During that 3 week period we didn't have ANY running water for multiple periods, spanning 4 days at a time. NO RUNNING WATER AT ALL. We had to buy bottled water to wash hands, brush teeth - you name it. Absolutely zero urgency from Foxtons. You'd ask them to call you back end of day to confirm they had given a plumber permission to come over and fix something, and you just wouldn't hear back. Totally incompetent. Our backdoor also was left unlocked when we moved in - we were told by Andrea who showed us the apartment that it wasn't locked because he didn't have the key - but the truth was the lock was broken and they couldn't lock it. They didn't tell us this. It took them over a week to fix the lock, so our apartment was not secure for over 7 days. They were also supposed to move all the broken planters that the previous tenants had left all over the balcony - soil everywhere and filled with ant farms - so much so they had ant traps all over the apartment, but didn't think to actually remove the massive piles of soil and broken planters where all the ants were. We ended up having to do a lot of the fixes ourselves, but nearly 3 weeks later and we still don't have hot water and the running water needs to be rationed to avoid it running out. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE. We heard horror stories about renting with Foxtons but didn't believe the real experience would be this bad - but it was. The support team at Foxtons are completely inept - it's run by someone called Jane who's ok, but everyone who works for her should be fired. It took some guy called Ross over a week to get the locksmith out to do a basic lock fix. Simran doesn't seem to understand the most basic of issues. I think we spoke to nearly 8 different people about our water issue, getting passed from one person to another. We are now 3 weeks into having no hot water and persistent water issues - we are now having to consider leaving the new flat we've moved into because it isn't fit for purpose. It's 2026 and we can't take a shower before work! And for rent that's 3 grand a month for a glorified 1.5 bed. WHAT?! I'll be consulting with solicitors to ensure we are refunded our rent for when we didn't have basic running water. If we do leave, we'll have lost thousands in moving costs - and not to mention the massive stress and anxiety this has caused. If you are considering renting from this Foxtons, or any other, don't do it - they don't do the most basic of checks before you move in and if anything goes wrong you're passed from one inept person to another until you can't take it any more and leave.
