6th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

The sale of our house was a big step for me and my family as it was our first family home with so many special memories and Chris was the absolute perfect person to help us on that journey. From the initial discussion through the day of the sale and beyond, he was more supportive than we could have ever asked for. Even when we had the stress of having to put our house back on the market due to our initial buyers falling through, he helped guide us on best next steps. His knowledge of the industry is unparalleled and it being a family business just gives everything an even more special feeling. Thank you Chris, Laura, Christeen and Angela. You were all the absolute dream team. We can’t ever thank you all enough. If you are selling your house please trust me when I say they are the absolute best in the business.

8th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)We were delighted to work with McDougall McQueen on the purchase of our new property, having had a great experience on a previous purchase. Most recently, our solicitor Susan Oates managed our sale and purchase transactions with great professionalism, managing to negotiate a rather complex missives agreement ahead of our planned completion date, while keeping us informed and updated at all times. The excellent service has continued after the sale was completed while we closed out a number of material issues with our property. I would be happy to recommend McDougall McQueen and consider their services to provide excellent value for money and help to take the stress out of a house move.
15th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)When the valuer first came to see our property we were very impressed and excited by his demeanor, he was very enthusiastic and he promised us he could get us top market prices and that he would have “no problem” in selling our home. We quickly found out that Igloo don’t phone you to inform you that you have a viewing as we had people turning up to view our home when we were unaware and not ready to have a viewing. Also days would go by after we did have a viewing without Igloo letting us know how it went or even that they were having trouble contacting the viewers. It took 6 months for us to sell our home, with us phoning Igloo several times to discuss lowering the price or changing something in our property. Not once did anyone from Igloo phone to discuss how we could sell the house quicker. In the end we lowered our asking price by £15000 and sold it that morning. Had there been a more accurate price put on the property, or Igloo had called to explain that the market was fluctuating then the property would have sold quicker and we would have been able to look at new properties rather than still making mortgage payments on the property we were in

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
9th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone. Poor service. Impolite staff. Scraping the bottom of the barrel to take your deposit, after being forced to leave after only 7 month tenancy due to the poor condition of the property overall, from weeks without heating and cooker/ oven, to damp and mould issues causing illness to name only a few. You have to chase everything as promises to call you back don’t happen, they don’t want to deal with it and can’t get you off the phone quick enough when there’s issues. I could honestly go on and on about all the service failings throughout. Felt forced to accept a ridiculous deposit reduction as I could not deal with the stress they had caused any longer throughout and after the tenancy. Would NEVER trust to rent a property through them again personally. *EDIT To your response, you’re very good at passing blame to the landlord, you failed to accept responsibility for your service shortcomings, failed to acknowledge the poor condition of the property i had to live in, or rude staff encounters. I tend to only leave positive reviews, this has nothing to do with "a kick on the way out". Northwood Falkirk has been far from a delight to deal with, thats all.
5th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Antionette and her team are fabulous! From first valuation right through the sale process and even after they were in touch regularly and so helpful. I didn't think I'd have so much fun selling my house but you can't help having a laugh and a gossip with Calvin on the phone while you're trying to plan viewings and moving dates. They really kept me calm throughout the whole process and were a joy to work with. I'd absolutely recommend and would use again (not that I'm planning to!) Thanks Antoinette and team!!

29th Mar 2024 (28 days ago)I can't recommend Dema and The Private Realtor enough, not only did she succeed where other high street agents did not, but ran a tight and very efficient process which led to a successful completion. The Private Realtor actually sells your house, it does not just show it, and there is a big difference, especially at higher price points - and this goes to the promotional videos (not just photos) - to the full service as well. This is how a house should be sold - with happy buyers and sellers. Ellerby Street, Fulham SW6.
