Both on the purchase and rental side they have always kept me informed of opportunities and been on the front foot keeping me in mind. 20th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

4th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)we recently sold our house through Bedfords and I can't recommend them enough! Prefessional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Jennifer Catchpole handled our sale and she was just excellent along with all her collegues. Communication was excellent from the start and they made the whole process so much easier for us. Thank you ever so much for all your efforts we both really appreciate it.
7th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Mr. Colin McKenzie, the Abbotfox Norwich office Branch manager/partner was most helpful to me. He knew the market well and ,quoted me the correct price for the property so I got offers quickly. It was a vacant property for some time and he connected me with an insurance agent that carried insurance on vacant properties, which on my own, I would have never been able to. He was prompt, and took photos of my place in less than 24 hours to expedite the listing of the property. He was diligent and fast, and arranged for the cleaning crew so the property could be shown asap. Later on, there were some obstacles with the gas meter installation etc, he went above and beyond and researched the different suppliers of the gas meters and installation and arranged for them to do the testing. He spent a lot of time on my little property. . He also had a very agile mind and formulated different scenarios and the pros and cons of each action taken, so that I could come to an easy and logical decision. He was very kind and understood my situation and the urgency of selling the property . Even when the buyer had difficult demands, Colin never gave up encouraging me to soldier on, and now today, the sale was completed and I am very happy and grateful to Colin.

She has been absolute brilliant in our search for our new home, always available to answer queries even when they seem trivial, provides quick and clear responses and is so friendly.

10th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)£200 valuation fee!!! We first looked at going with shires to sell our property as they had a house we was set on purchasing made sense we went with them. We was told that there was certain things they could do to get us said house ,but we need to get on the market ASAP, We signed contract thinking that as with any contract we would have a 14 day cooling off period, so after lots of promises we where then told the property had sold which gave us some breathing space to take a step back and shop about ,we were offered a fantastic rate and was given amazing service from another agent. We informed shires we would like to terminate our contract within the 14 days cooling off period , they took this news badly, even bad mouthing other agents saying they can't do what we can ect ect ,seemed to take it personally, We was then sent a Bill for just over £200 for a valuation fee which was in small print My point being there is no cooling off period without excessive charges so just beware ,and of underhand tactics

They were incredibly understanding of the challenges we faced in finding a landlord willing to accept a tenant receiving benefits. Throughout the process, they were supportive, respectful, and non-discriminatory, something we unfortunately did not experience with some other agents in the area. A special thanks to Andrew, who was our main point of contact. Your understanding and compassionate approach was truly refreshing.

The knowledge that they both have, the support they give throughout a stressful period of your life is 2nd to none. Andy had it set in his mind that he wanted to help us as he knew my brother and he wanted to help his little sister. A few teaser pictures were taken, shared and my house went immediately before even officially going on the market. This man knows his stuff. My brother would be beaming. Thank you from the bottom of my happy emotional filled heart for everything. So grateful

Lizzy in particular did an amazing job to keep on top of things due to a protracted conveyancing process which was out of our control. Without her assistance we'd probably still not have completed, so we're very grateful to her and the team in Attleborough.

Each person we engaged with from the office was incredibly professional and gave great advice and support, metaphorically holding our hands through the process. Stand out mentions in particular to Joe, Nicola and Matthew who always went above and beyond in looking after us and we also appreciated all the help from Morgan and Chelsea with viewings. They had regular check-ins and updates with us and they were always contactable and responsive to messages and questions which we really valued. Very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend them.

She helped me secure a house in less than 2 weeks and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Kelsey was incredibly responsive, communicated exceptionally well, answered every question thoroughly (even the dumb ones), and made sure every need was taken care of from start to finish. Her professionalism and dedication truly stood out to me, and it made me want to go through this particular letting agency. To be quite honest, she deserves a promotion!
