I’m a conveyancer and have been working in conveyancing for some time now, so I’ve dealt with countless estate agents. Unfortunately, many tend to leave everything to the conveyancers when it comes to chasing updates and progressing the matter. Dave has been outstanding throughout this transaction. He provided consistent updates and was extremely helpful in supporting the sellers with even the smallest matters, particularly when it came to obtaining documents and information from third parties, and ensuring the buyers’ requests were easily manageable for the client. This was also a chain of 8 properties, yet Dave stayed proactive and involved throughout while many other agents in the chain seemed content to sit back. It genuinely makes a difference working with someone who is engaged and committed to helping keep things moving. Dave was exactly that. Highly recommended.

17th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)An absolute nightmare from start to finish. Do not use if you value your property's safety or expect basic professional service We used the Connells Newport Pagnell branch to sell our home, and it was a terrible experience. Before you sign the contract, they will promise you the world, claiming they have a huge list of eager buyers lined up. The moment you sign, it is complete radio silence. They didn’t even bother to visit the property to create the listing properly. You quickly realise that the onus is entirely on *you* to sell the property, not them. Whenever we had to chase them for an update, their default excuse for the lack of progress was claiming the "house is not clean"—without ever specifying what actually needed cleaning. This was an insulting and completely bogus excuse, considering the house was completely vacant and we were regularly commuting from Aylesbury, balancing full-time jobs and a young family, to keep it in pristine condition. However, the most severe issue was their blatant breach of security and legal protocols. Weeks prior to the legal completion of the sale, Connells handed over our keys to the buyer and their contractors, allowing them **unaccompanied and unauthorized access** to our property on multiple occasions. We were never notified or asked for consent; we only found out because our vigilant neighbors told us. To arrive and find new stains in the house because the agent illegally allowed people in was devastating. Their negligence not only breached the TPO Code of Practice but put us at immense risk of invalidating our insurance. When we raised this severe security breach, the branch was entirely dismissive. They operate with a shocking air of entitlement, constantly reminding us they are the "biggest estate agent," as if basic legal safeguards don't apply to them. They brushed off this massive failure as a "minor service issue" and offered an insulting £100 "goodwill gesture," which we firmly rejected. They expect sellers to pay their hefty fees and follow every rule to the letter, but casually waive the law when it suits them or their buyers. This branch cannot be trusted with your keys, your listing, or your legal rights. We have formally escalated this matter to The Property Ombudsman (TPO). Avoid at all costs.
7th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)We recently purchased our grade2 home through Compass Elevation and we have to thank Mark Sheffield for making the process from our sellers side as smooth as possible. He was always available to show us around the property while we decided if it was the right move for us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had in purchasing this grade2 building. He liaised quickly & effectively between us & our seller keeping us all up to date at all times and answered all our questions. I genuinely felt Mark cared & thanks to him we are now settled into our new home. I highly recommend Mark.

Definitely use Property Experts if you want a smooth sale without the promises other estate agents gave us and did not deliver.

22nd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Both Stuart and Tom have been an absolute god send in what was made an incredibly difficult transaction by Solicitors. They have chased relentlessly to keep momentum and without them, I’m certain we would have seen the time at least doubled. A difficult property to sell, they managed to quickly find me buyers when the sale fell through 3 times, remaining calm and efficient the entire time. Unfortunately the original property we were buying also fell through, but some great alternatives were quickly presented, noting all the things which were important for us. Thank you so much guys!

19th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Thomas Connelly have been good trying to sell our house. They have been polite and courteous when reaching out, and they have tried different things to push the sale. I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

6th Oct 2020 (5 years ago)I didn't use F&C as my Estate Agent, but having had such a great experience buying a house through them, they will certainly be the only firm I use in future. We went through 3 estate agents when selling our house and I could pick faults with all 3. However our interactions with F&C, and specifically Haydn and Kelly, were exemplary. They really do care about their clients and nothing was too much trouble for Haydn. He was prompt with enquiries and even through the Covid lockdown was available throughout (my firm furloughed everyone and didn't even tell me!!). Brilliant Estate Agents, wish I had used them from the start and will do in future and recommend them to friends. Keep up the good work ????

6th May 2026 (0 days ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!
