4th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)I advise everybody to avoid Carters Letting Agents and local Landlord William Bruce. This year I was seriously ill for six months, resulting in emergency surgery to save my life. During this time they issued me a section 21, and I moved into a new property the day after I was released from hospital afyer being there for 4 weeks, still with two surgical drains attached, and incredibly limited mobility. Being fully aware of this information they went after my deposit and have today been awarded just over 1000 pounds, after the section 21 cost me nearly 3 grand, and rinsed the rest of my savings. During the time I was in hospital they issued notice to my landlord without my consent and before my new property had been confirmed. I questioned this whilst I was in hospital and was told 'not to worry' despite this being a move that could have made me and my 15 year old son homeless, and given on a date that left me no time to have the property cleaned properly. They have made no allowances for my very serious illness desite being fully informed, and created extra stress and financial worry. In the meantime the house has been renovated for sale, and I believe my deposit is paying for that. Their behaviour towards me after 5 years of tenancy has been disgusting, and they have used my vunarability as a tool to extract more money. Apparently this landlord owns numbers of houses in wolverton. Beware.
9th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)I have just brought a house through pattison lane kettering, from being shown the property with Tiana I knew I was in good hands, she was very honest about the property and didnt give us a hard sale which is very off putting from other estate agents, she gave us time to consider the property with out pressure which was so refreshing, she also did her research on the property and was so informative, she could answer all my questions on the spot. Then Jo and Sadie from the sales team where absolutely fantastic, it was a stressful chain but Jo and Sadie saved my sanity, took so much stress off me and kept on top of chasing the chain for me. They even called me when I was in the new property to check everything was OK and to wish me luck in my new home. All round fantastic service from you three ladies, I couldn't be happier and if I ever move again I will not hesitate to use pattison lane kettering. Thank you for your amazing work ladies! We absolutely love our new home and will be highly recommending yourselves to everyone.

18th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.

8th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)I chose Chelton Brown to manage my portfolio based on personal recommendation and my own research. I had a short-list of two agents in the town that I felt stood out as being serious about the lettings business. So many estate agents seem to see lettings as easy money, but are not dedicated to a service model as distinct from the large one-off commission on property sales. Before committing I met with the Managing Director and key people that would support me, my properties, and of course my tenants. 3 years later I continue to grow my portfolio and feel justified in choosing Chelton Brown.

Most courteous of people who kept me up to date with everything with the progress of the sale. Highly recommend Matthew Nicholas for buying or selling a property
31st Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Marie’s remarkable work ethic We were with another agent for 6 months, they showed know interest or drive to sell our house. We decided to go with a different agent. We went with Marie from fine and Country Marie had the drive and a different outlook on the selling of our home . She booked one open day for potential buyers to view, on that day we had a disaster, a water leak!!! (we were away at the time) Marie not only sold our house in it’s worst state , she helped with the clean up !! We were kept informed all the way through out the sale of our home . We would highly recommend Marie for her outstanding service , positive attitude and her remarkable work ethic!!

Their very competitive rates, and friendly, personal touch, we're instrumental in us choosing to go with them. They offered excellent advice regarding solicitors, sale price and staging, and nothing seemed too much trouble. They marketeted my house extremely well, with the pictures and video tour really showing my house in its best light. Mike and Gino were always available during the sale and purchase with advice, encouragement, and personal support in what was a unique, often stressful situation with my buyer. I'm happy to say that everything went through in the end, and we are now in our new home.
