14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)What an awful experience I’ve had with Mr Homes. Although the team was initially efficient in finding a tenant and completing the referencing, everything that followed was deeply disappointing. Communication after the contract was signed became appalling, and the agents demonstrated a clear lack of competence regarding the bond protection process.<br><br>It took the agent 11 days to provide me with a copy of the contract, despite repeated requests. This delay meant the bond protection had to be completed at the last minute. Instead of acknowledging their own failure to supply the required information, they sent me a threatening, legally?worded email, which was entirely inappropriate given the circumstances.<br><br>Despite this, I remained patient and attempted to work with them to resolve the issue.<br><br>Despite this, I remained patient and attempted to work with them to resolve the issue. It became apparently that the agent simply could not understand how the bond protection process works, so the CEO became involved.<br><br>Unfortunately, the CEO’s involvement made matters worse. He spoke to me on the phone in a patronising, condescending and dismissive manner, clearly assuming I was ignorant of the process and showing no awareness of the events leading up to his involvement.<br><br>While the agent’s mistakes could be attributed to inadequate training, the CEO’s prejudicial demeanour and belittling tone reflect a deeper cultural problem within the organisation, one that cannot be resolved through training alone.<br><br>Update: I have submitted a formal complaint with supporting evidence. The delays referenced in the CEO’s response were caused by the company not providing the tenancy agreement for 11 days post contract execution, despite repeated requests. All statements in this review are supported by email and call logs.

Our house was on the market for about six weeks and we only had two viewings during that time, so in the end we decided to take it off the market as the experience wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for. One thing I didn’t like was that we met one estate agent for our valuation, initial consultation, and photos, but after that we never heard from him again. Instead, a different agent we’d never met carried out the viewings. This person didn’t know us or what we wanted potential buyers to know about our house, including specific details we’d shared with the original agent. We were disappointed as we expected the person we’d built rapport with to be the one doing the viewings

24th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)We recently sold our property through Peter Alan. The branch were helpful and always willing to assist. We have no complaints about the branch team at all.<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with the sales progression service was very disappointing. Communication was poor, emails often went unanswered and we regularly had to chase for updates ourselves.<br><br>Completion was also poorly handled, with our purchase agent contacting us first to tell us our sale had completed.<br><br>We emailed Peter Alan afterwards to explain our concerns, but we still haven't heard anything back from the sales progressor, which is particularly disappointing.<br><br>It’s a shame, as our experience with the branch team was very positive. However, based on the overall experience, we wouldn't use Peter Alan again and would be reluctant to recommend them.<br><br>Thank you again to the branch.

From the initial valuation to the day of completion it’s been a pleasure to have him by our side. Communication has been outstanding, nothing was ever too much trouble, evening viewings accommodating around our work schedule and securing wonderful buyers, I can’t imagine another estate agent going above and beyond like Steve did for us. A true asset to estate agents! Thanks Steve, until the next sale ??????!

Donna gave me plenty of time to view the property, was knowledgeable about the area and answered all of my questions.<br>Donna was always quick to respond to messages and calls.
9th Apr 2026 (23 weeks ago)Sold my house with One2One in February 2026. Initial valuation house appointment was fine as was the arrangement of the photographs of the house ready to market. From this point onwards it was all downhill. The expectation from the very start was that we were to show buyers around for viewings despite making it very clear from the outset that we did not want this. Once we made it clear that we wanted the estate agents to manage the viewings, we quickly learnt that their availability was scarce with no capacity for blocking viewings. In my view, it’s a tactic to get you to do your own viewings to save them the hassle and they can cash their part in it. All viewings confirmed by text and an email which was all fine. Once we finally reached a place where One 2 One would agree to block viewings they placed at least seven together on a Saturday which we were pleased with at this stage. On the day of the block viewings, no phone calls or communications from the estate agent beforehand so I didn’t even know the name of who was arriving and the agent had never seen my house before. I had to write out key features of the house for the estate agent. To no surprise they were late for the first viewing and I had to ring the office over and over to find out what was happening. Turns out they had booked viewings at a separate address for another seller before my block viewings. I did accept an offer in the days that followed and couldn’t wait to be done with them. The lady who contacted me towards the end of the sale was lovely and approachable but can’t say the same for any of the female staff members I spoke to throughout. I felt the need to write this review as I wished I went with a more reputable company so I could have received the service that we were looking for. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid this estate agents entirely.
