Some agents let buyers scroll thru avail props refined by area/price, wotev. I seek something rural in or near Throckenholt/Gedney Hill etc

As a buyer Phoenix doesn't care about you, they won't give you any information that you ask for saying they are unable to but when their seller wants to know what's going on they will harass you to the point of being rude. We was told the seller wanted no communication with us and we were left in the dark for weeks when sharing doubts that we didn't want the house due to communication, Phoenix became interactive with us again. When paper work was held up, Phoenix blamed the other parties.(we spoke to the house owner in the end because we got tired) every step was a stressful time we wish that the house was listed by another agent, nothing was made easy.

When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.
12th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)Poor coordination. Drove from NW London for a viewing to be called an hour before to cancel the appt because they couldn't get anyone there due to a broken down vehicle. I know these things happen, but they seemed to not have cared. Lucky we hadn't booked a day off specifically for it; could we do it in a few weeks time was the suggestion... not risking it again.

We couldn't have asked for better. Again, with this sale, everything he did was fully professional and exemplary. He regularly went the extra mile as well as liaising with buyers, keeping in touch with both sets of solicitors and arranging independent surveyors to provide assurances to our buyers. He kept us regularly informed of progress even though we were out of the country most of the time and brought the sale to a completion quicker than we had anticipated. Having been in the Estate Agency myself, I can honestly say that Steve is the most knowledgeable, hardworking, approachable and honest agent I have ever come across. I would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to friends and family. I can honestly say it was a pleasure dealing with him.
