Cause criminal damage and these lot do nothing about it. Absolutely shocking company. Allowing rats to come from the house next door. Absolute sham

31st May 2026 (10 weeks ago)Don’t ever use dewhurst homes and avoid at all costs A property that we loved recently went up for sale We agreed a visit When we got to the visit the person showing us around had no clue on the property, the onward chain and couldn’t answer basic of questions, not there fault at all. More on the company sending her out when she specialises in rentals, we then put a bid forward and told it was rejected. We then proceeded to put a second offer in, they called us and said our first offer rejected no word on the second offer, we told them the second offer and was told oh this would be rejected and basically laughed down the phone. Third offer sent and same again told it wouldn’t be accepted, we then went above asking price and was told by Dewhurst homes the seller had accepted much higher but not responding so our offer is accepted, we agreed a mortgage and conveyancer and now been told sorry we’ve gone back to original person as been back in touch. Please avoid and take care if having any dealings with these rats

Nothing was too much trouble for him and he replied to all our queries in a calm and efficient manner. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ben at Farrell Heyworth in Garstang, he is very pleasant to deal with.

21st Jul 2026 (21 days ago)Jacqui. Was knowledgable in every aspect of marketing , valuing and advertising our property. Her communication skills are first rate. She is also a very nice person and been helpful throughout- 27th Sep 2025 (10 mo. ago)There were several issues. Initially we decided to have accompanied viewing. Our first 2 viewings were only 15 minutes apart which resulted in both sets of viewers here together! We cancelled accompanied viewings but on 2 further occasions viewers told us that their viewings had been put forward at least a week due to "shortage of staff". On the last viewing- just before our contract finished- we had a call from FH asking if we still required accompanied viewing-a matter we had cancelled 5 months before! When the viewers arrived they told us they had tried to view about 3 weeks earlier but were told no-one was available!

We can't say Thank you enough. If we ever move from here we would use you. But hoping no more moves. Thanks again . All I can say is they are top notch. I cannot praise them highly enough. 30th Apr 2026 (15 weeks ago)?Extremely poor management. Currently withholding my full month's rent without authorization to 'offset' a maintenance bill. They ignored direct written instructions to keep rent and maintenance separate and attempted to charge for work before it was even completed (which they only admitted today). They are now claiming I owe them money despite holding my full rent. Communication has been evasive. Matter now referred to the Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards UPDATE 30/04/26: Following a formal deadline and this public review, the agency has now released my rent in full. I have settled the maintenance invoice separately as originally requested. While the financial matter is now resolved, it should not have required a legal threat and a public complaint to receive my own rental income.

Mia and Simon were our contacts and both were phenomenally professional.<br>They helped so much with the purchase always accommodating our requests to bring various trades people in to measure up and quote for work.<br>Any questions we had were answered immediately, at points Mia was showing us round this and other properties beforehand, and questions arose while we were looking which Mia discretely text and had answers for within minutes. Nothing was too much trouble!<br>And lovely people to deal with every inch of the way, thank you so much<br>Laura & Mark
