31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

Made so much smoother by the care shown to us from the agency, of note Antonia. What a gem she is. Thanks again to her and the others, would recommend!

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

The whole team were incredibly helpful throughout, from first meeting Nick to view the property to liaising with Karli and Sally during the purchase. Their knowledge and support made the process much easier for us. A fantastic company to deal with and one I would highly recommend.
7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.
11th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)A few days ago, I visited a rental property and had a friendly conversation with Louise Pasker, the Lettings & Valuations Manager. We explored the house and talked about various topics. She promised to send my partner and I the necessary form, but she never did. My partner and I spoke more about the property the following day to weigh the pros and cons of the property. We were hesitant to commit to a home without thorough consideration. After really thinking it through and not just taking the property to have a home. Not one we didn’t find suited. It is unfortunate that Louise Pasker failed to provide the requested paperwork (if we were interested which last she heard we possibly interested) and did not respond to my partner’s email the day after. It is possible that she is experiencing annoyance, illness, or is part-time. In the event of illness, emails should be passed over to another colleague. If she is part-time, emails should also be passed over too. Regardless of her circumstances, it is unprofessional to: 1. Not reply to an email (in the email my partner also asked if they’re any other properties they have) 2. To not even send the forms she said she’d do Also, my partner sent another email today. Asking if Louise had seen the last email. Had no reply. It is very unprofessional to ignore someone’s emails that is asking questions.

4th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)Avoid them. Tom Kennedy repeatedly misrepresented the property to secure an offer. He claimed the freehold was shared between 2 flats instead of 6, and falsely promised the seller had agreed to internal alterations I requested with my offer. Neither was true.<br><br>Discovering these misrepresentations forced me to pull out of the sale, leaving me £660 out of pocket for a survey and delayed by 3 months—costing an additional £4,650 in rent. To make matters worse, they ignored my formal complaint entirely. Save yourself the stress and financial loss, and look elsewhere.
4th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)As a buyer we were very impressed with A H Lansley particularly Cynthia who was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and showing us the house and Sarah who worked hard to chase up all parts of the chain and worked to get us in to our new home. We love our new home but if we do sell in the future we would use this estate agents. Thank you!- 24th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)I arranged a valuation to be done and two agents came out, one seemed very pleasant and nice however the other who wasn’t planned to do the viewing was rude obnoxious and showed very little interest in the property and made me feel as if I had wasted their time. This was a shame as the original estate agent had seemed genuinely nice and professional however did very little talking and was overpowered by the other estate agent. Overall compared to the experience from other estate agents on the same level I was extremely disappointed and upset by the whole experience.

20th Jul 2026 (23 days ago)We purchased a house recently through Singletons in Pangbourne. Paul Marshall handled the sale. He really was 1st class - a true professional. He worked across buyer and seller to get the deal done. After the price was agreed, Paul and the Singletons team remained engaged throughout the transaction helping resolve obstacles and keep the sale on track. Result was completion within 6 weeks. I can't recommend Singletons Pangbourne highly enough.
