10th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)From the moment I viewed to when I collected the keys, the team at Hunters was excellent. I have worked with them across branches, one in Sheffield and this one in Barnsley. There were regular updates and check-ins that made the process of buying relatively stress free.
5th Mar 2026 (22 days ago)Georgia at BRH has been nothing short of excellent! Georgia was very friendly during our viewing of the property and answered all of our questions, even answered some before we had chance to ask, this just shows how intuitive Georgia is. Since the viewing which was Monday, two days later we had a tenancy agreement to sign and everything ready paperwork-wise for a move on the following Friday! Any questions we have had Georgia has promptly responded within the hour and in the one case she hadn't, she rang to apologise even though it was only a few hours later! Overall the experience during this whole process has been perfect and could not wish for a better person to handle it all for us!
15th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Can't recommend enough! We sold our house with William H Brown at the start of 2026. It was exaclty four weeks from their initial viewing to completion, which is so impressive (we were very lucky with certain things but they certainly didn't waste any time). Every little bit of progress, they would let us know. They did all of the fiddly bits like sorting all of the documents we need and they had a good relationship with our solicitors, as well as our buyer. Literally so easy for us. Sam was super helpful and you can tell they all really cared about finding the best buyer for us. So grateful, thank you!!
10th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Great experience from start to finish especially from Hope and Nicole regarding first obtaining the property, straight through to the renewal process. Always been very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Any issues I came across they ensured it was dealt with and sorted ASAP.
8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

Easy to speak with and very well explained the process start to finish, any queries were answered quickly and they made sure you understood everything. McArthur is a local agent, and I believe in using local businesses, so I contacted them regarding selling the property. A decision I was happy with. No silly staggered fees or additional costs depending on how long on the market. A straight forward set fee plus VAT, perfect! From the initial visit to completion they have been great and the house went under offer in less than a fortnight. couple of communication hiccups early doors hut nothing major. Definitely recommend using.
