21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I am the executor of a will for a very dear friend whose property is on the market with Strada.<br>I made a special journey into their office to explain my situation & left my name & number with a brief note asking to be kept in the loop regarding progress of the sale.<br>I did this on July 31, 3 weeks have now passed & nobody has had the decency to contact me.<br>I know my message was received as someone telephoned my friend's daughter the very same day.<br>I consider their lack of response to be discurteous & unprofessional.<br>Potential customers of Strada may want to bear this lack of communication in mind!
6th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

21st Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

Their attitude with their clients is extremely commendable. This is the second time we have used this agent, and feel they are highly recommendable to anyone who is considering either buying or selling.

I was initially a little hesitant after hearing from a neighbour that I might hardly hear from Rod, but I’m very happy to say I had absolutely nothing to worry about!<br><br>Aaron and Emily were fantastic — always quick to respond, keeping me regularly updated and incredibly helpful despite the time difference. I especially appreciated that they checked on the property regularly, which gave me great peace of mind while I was working within a budget. I understand there is normally a charge for this, as there was with most of the other agents I spoke to, so I really appreciated their courtesy in making the process as stress-free as possible for me while I was abroad.<br><br>They genuinely made what was a daunting process feel somewhat easier. I always felt comfortable reaching out whenever I was anxious or had a question, and there were many! I’m grateful for their support and would happily recommend the team at Alexander Jacob.
7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.
15th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts. We are very happy we made the decision to go with Morfitt Smith, they have been so friendly, professional and efficient in what is potentially a stressful time, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co. A first-class service from start to hopefully the end of my purchase of my dream home - 10/10!

Just no communications or return calls, messages etc. Imagine if you were a buyer, would your price be communicated to the vendor with such inefficiency?

He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!
