When I asked for advise it was given in a kind manner not a hard we know best way. Everything was explained so I could understand it. They even spoke to the solicitors for me. I truly felt in safe hand. Our house sold in a good time at the wanted price. Totally recommend them.

Was very patient as at some times I was really stressed. The sale took months to go through, but finally today we completed. Thank you everyone at Park Estates. You're a great team.

22nd Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)I have worked with Irwin & Scott over the past 18 months, during which time they rented, managed and ultimately sold my property, which has recently completed. The team have been fantastic across both the lettings and sales sides and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in the area. They were instrumental in getting the sale over the line, assisting with coordinating quotes from contractors following the survey and keeping both myself and the buyer fully informed throughout the process.
16th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Not surprised to see some poor reviews here. I used Oakwood (Mottingham) before Covid for property management when moving abroad. They did not lodge the tenants deposit with DPS, and sent me a fake certificate when I asked for evidence. Daniel told me a temp worker had pocketed the deposit when he was on holiday and that she had produced the certificate (rubbish). He also did not follow due process when the tenants moved into the property which meant I had little chance for legal recourse should the tenants fall behind in rent. Oakwoods also did not provide me with a proper property management contract between them and myself, playing dumb when I asked for one. Unfortunately, this was my first time renting out a property and it was a learning experience. Agree with another reviewer that they only seemed to care about the sales side of the business.

22nd Aug 2023 (3 years ago)If I could give 0 star, I would. Absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, cheap & discriminative service that this agency provides. Home owners pay them to have a part of full service. The tenants will have to deal with their own reference checks etc. as the agency is washing their hands when it comes to doing anything that they are getting paid for. After being passed onto a referencing agency who couldn't do their job properly, (which I now believe happened in collaboration with the agent of DPR as they didn't want to give us the flat ) we've been asked to get in touch with a 3rd party agency to sort out the problem. Why would you use two 3rd parties to do your reference checks? Later on the agent made is seem like it was all our fault (that their agency couldn't reference us properly) and they ahed contacted the landlord and suggested him not to go ahead with us. In all honesty, you guys better make a call to Trading Standards as well - I reported them already.The more of us the better.

15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

He has been involved from the outset, when he first showed us the flat, and has remained consistently engaged throughout, always included in communications and clearly overseeing matters with care and attention. The flat itself has also been excellent, which has made the whole experience all the more positive. Now, two years on, we’ve just completed an inspection with Mas, which was handled in a professional yet relaxed and friendly manner. It made what can sometimes be an uncomfortable process feel straightforward and at ease. It was also striking that he remembered small personal details about us, from meeting family members to our hobbies, something that is quite rare and much appreciated. He has always been flexible with timings and accommodating of our work schedules, which made a real difference. The wider team have also been excellent, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Overall, the experience has been smooth and stress free, and we would highly recommend them.

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. 11th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)I've had the best experience with Pindrop Property, the main managing director showed me the property the experience was wonderful, their communication was on point throughout the whole process until the end of the completions of the sale. They were very accommodating when needed to communicate with the sellers. Overall I would definitely recommend them and I will return if I look for another property in the future.
