17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Charlie was always responsive and helped facilitate a sale pulling together all parties, and pushed to keep as close to our deadline as possible.
16th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)The most important thing in business is communication which Hamptons sadly lack from. We had to constantly chase on outcomes of the few viewings we had which isn’t good business. I also found your telephone system to be nothing short of useless. When we called you we were always greeted with please hold as we are busy ! Then the system would shut off and you would have to call back again ! I can see why small independent people ( social Media experts ) who are hungry for business are winning against the high street outlets

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

They were proactive throughout the process and communicated brilliantly, keeping me fully informed at every stage. 13th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)We put the house on the market in May 2026, after speaking to Philip Booth (and other estate agents) for over one year. He totally understood that getting ready for an international move is not a quick thing. The asking price was set realistically together and we got full asking price, within one week of putting it on the market and we only had one couple viewing. Quite a whirlwind and a great result. Margaret was our main contact from Philip Booth Esq and communication was quick, accurate when needed. What has stood out since we moved in September has been when the Post Office failed to redirect post etc (which was ordered and paid for and was suppose to start the week before we moved) the PB team and Margaret has helped beyond their remit with picking up post from the buyers, communicated about it and made sure we’ve received it. We are so grateful for everything. Selling a house and moving is never easy, physically or emotionally. So pleased we had and chose the right team supporting us on this journey. Thankyou.

12th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Chloe was very friendly and personable. Very quick in answering questions and keeping informed of viewing comments. First two months (January/February) were very slow on viewings, but March and April were much more productive. Happy with final result.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. From start to finish, Sophie and Lance were absolutely amazing and made a stressful process so easy!<br><br>Being a small, family-run business really sets them apart. The service was so much more personal, genuine and caring. They were always approachable, easy to contact and happy to help, no matter how big or small the question.<br><br>What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared. We never felt like just another customer or transaction. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process, always keeping us informed, offering reassurance and making us feel like we were in safe hands.<br><br>It’s rare to find a business that combines such professionalism with a truly personal touch. No question was ever too much, and they really felt like allies in what can be quite a lengthy and stressful process. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

3rd Sep 2025 (1 year ago)? 1/5 – Disappointed with the Lack of Communication My experience with Galaxy Property Services in Slough has been frustrating and disappointing. One of the biggest issues has been their lack of communication. They are consistently unresponsive to calls, emails, and messages, which makes it incredibly difficult to resolve even simple queries or concerns. There was very little transparency throughout the process, and I often felt left in the dark about important updates. When communication did happen, it was usually delayed or vague, and rarely addressed the actual issue. I expected a higher level of professionalism and accountability. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend their services based on this experience. Clear and timely communication should be a basic standard in property management — and it’s something Galaxy Property Services seriously needs to improve.

26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Hopcroft Property Experts. The team were incredibly attentive, responsible and professional throughout the whole sale/purchase process. From the initial viewing all the way to completion, everything was wrapped up in under two months, and I was able to move in exactly within my desired timescale. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
