Oliver and his Knight Frank team offered us a discreet marketing service which secured us a chain free buyer at our guide price. The process has been well managed and their excellent communication has addressed points throughout the sale before they could become a problem. Their professionalism has shone head and shoulders above the other agents in town
Despite requests not to do so, Knight Frank staff continued parking on our private driveway, thereby blocking access to properties on our estate. Such “me first” behaviour is in stark contrast to the considerate manners of the people who live here. We ended up notifying the police about harassment and some Knight Frank staff have been permanently excluded.
Cached web pages show that the property Knight Frank manages was advertised to let for nearly 5 months, in which time the rate was dropped until finally it was advertised as under offer. The new tenants must be delighted with Knight Frank, at having bagged a bargain. At the same time, new tenants moved into an identical property just over 2 weeks after it was put on the market by another agent at more than 8% above the rate last advertised by Knight Frank. Another identical property has just been let in less than 3 weeks. What does all this say about Knight Frank’s marketing capability?
A month ago we had to ask the owner of the property to pay the annual maintenance charge, as Knight Frank had not done so.
We deal with 3 other agents in Beaconsfield; in our view they are head, shoulders and knees above Knight Frank.
I wish I’d used them in the first instance rather than wasting 3 months - straight talking, proactive & highly professional.

I note these rip-off merchants are now charging you to list your property
What a Con!
They do this in order that you wont market your property with multiple agents, this is how manipulative tactics like this begin.
The end result is that other agents will follow suit, and because you will have to pay every agent to list, you will only stick with one agent.
They think people are too stupid to see through their little con tricks!
You would think they get paid enough without having to employ such tactics?
Excellent local property agent! I've been dealing with Sears for the last 6 months with the sale of a matrimonial home following a split. Not only do they have exceptional local knowledge but have been very empathetic of an extremely challenging situation. Wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending Sears, great family orientated business with a personal touch.
I called Sears Estate Agent for a house that has HMO potential in Bracknell area. I clearly informed the agent that my budget is £300k to £310K. The house was sold previously but buyer couldn't obtain HMO as the house need 2 bathrooms and size of rooms are too small to comply to the HMO so I leaned later on.
Sears not just wasted my time ( forgot my appointment to view) , but mislead to believe that the house is HMO while clearly is not when i start investigation through the council , mislead me to also believe the vendor would accept my budget etc
I think Sears are very dishonest, uses potential buyer to secure deals for others!. set people up. I think they want just anyone to get through the door so they show vendors that they are actively searching for buyers, they believe its quantities rather than quality and comparability etc, they Never listen to your needs and requirements.
Their valuation of properties are 10-15% more than market value.
I would stay away from Sears estate agents.
I am extremely impressed with the team at Carsons Maidenhead and would highly recommend their service. Simondeep was excellent at addressing my initial concerns around buying and Kuldeep was very conscientious in ensuring that he found the best mortgage to suit my needs. The whole team ensured that the process ran quickly and smoothly and I am very appreciative of the friendly, expert and professional service that they provided.
I would recommend AVOIDING a Carson's property at all costs. Having requested the return of our protected deposit nearly 3 weeks ago (with full agreement from our landlord) we have still not received our money. This is in spite of the legal maximum being 10 days.
It is evident that Carson have very poor procedures as no records we kept nor anything done until I chased them many times by phone and email, leading to further processing delays.
What's worse is that only very rarely does anyone pick up the phone, call me back or update me on anything. I'm not sure they realise there is a legal maximum time limit to return the deposit.
Really, really poor.
