Gillian was incredibly helpful throughout - nothing was ever too much trouble, and the whole experience felt genuinely personal rather than transactional.<br><br>The communication and follow-up were excellent from start to finish, and Gillian consistently went out of her way to make everything as straightforward as possible. A real pleasure to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the Mountgrange Heritage team.

19th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)I previously used this agency to rent a property in London, so when my husband later decided to sell the house in Henley, I was happy to use them again. The agency and a particular agent were recommended to us, and the process started relatively well. My husband’s application was accepted, and all the agents from the Henley office came to view the house.<br>Unfortunately, once a buyer was found, the whole experience changed. The team seemed to switch their attention entirely to the buyer and completely forgot about us — the people actually selling the property and, of course, paying their fees.<br>It was extremely frustrating. Our emails were often ignored, getting through to someone by phone was difficult, and we regularly had to go into the office simply to remind them that we were still there and needed updates.<br>We did everything we could to make the sale as easy as possible for the buyers. We moved out within a very short timeframe and even left them the washing machine, tumble dryer and various other items as a gesture of goodwill like expensive wooden blind and shutters. Despite this, we often felt that the agents were speaking to us as if we were children rather than their clients — the people paying their commission.<br>The buyers seemed to make one request after another, and the agents showed enormous interest in accommodating them, while speaking to us in a dismissive and sometimes rather disrespectful way. At times, it felt as though our needs and circumstances simply didn't matter.<br>Overall, it was a very useful experience in terms of learning what to expect from an estate agent, but it was also extremely stressful. We were genuinely disappointed by the agency and, most of all, by the way we were treated once the buyer had been found.<br>I would strongly recommend that the agency remembers that a successful sale involves two sides, and both deserve the same level of communication, professionalism and respect.

9th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)I’ve recently met with Lucy Metcalf from JNP High Wycombe in all the estate agents I’ve met in pursuit of buying a house over the last 3 or 4 months Lucy stands out as a Shinning Star in the Industry. She was very professional, thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable and reassuring in her approach. Her feedback from the vendors was always prompt, professional and very eloquent. It’s been a pleasure dealing with Lucy whom sets a great example in the estate agency world !! Thank you- 1st Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Although ultimately I was not able to secure the property I had hoped for, that was certainly not through any lack of effort on Jaya Dhillon's part or the Chancellor's team.<br><br>Throughout the process Jaya was exceptionally helpful, responsive and accommodating, and genuinely went out of her way to try to make things work.<br><br>What impressed me most was Jaya’s approach. She was personable, patient and professional, answered my many questions, accommodated additional viewings and requests for information, and kept communicating with me throughout. Even when it became clear that the particular application was not going to have the outcome we had hoped for, she remained positive and continued looking at what other options might be available.<br><br>Property searches can be stressful, particularly when circumstances are not completely straightforward, and having an agent who treats you as a person rather than simply another applicant makes an enormous difference. Jaya and her line manager Shannon Corrigon did exactly that.<br><br>The outcome may not have been successful, but the service absolutely was. I was genuinely very impressed with Jaya, Shannon and Chancellors overall and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her or the team.

30th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Worst Experience with Elliott Lettings - Please Read Before Renting<br>My close friend took house through Elliott Lettings. After they moved out, 2 months later the landlord did a full renovation of the house and put the entire bill of £3000 on them.<br>The most shocking part - NO ONE took responsibility. The Elliott agent who came for checkout told us on the spot "everything is fine". They had taken NO check-in photos, but at checkout they took hundreds of photos just to create a bill.<br>When we asked, one person said "talk to Reposit team", Reposit team said "landlord sent the bill", and the landlord never contacted us directly. Elliott agents did not let us talk to the landlord, did not listen to us, and just kept saying "go and raise a dispute".<br>We were lucky we had some of our own proofs and we disputed it through the deposit scheme. Because they had ZERO check-in proof and only checkout photos, the adjudicator rejected most of their claim and we only had to pay around £300 instead of £3000. They didn’t guide them for anything.<br>When they newly moved in, they gave them NO guidance at all for Electricity and Gas. They didn't know which supplier was at the property, where to sign in, how to set up the account, how to top up / recharge. They had to find everything and do it ourselves.<br><br>When they moved out, closed their own connection properly. Then they started spamming us with messages - "how to do recharge, how to connect gas/power". They didn't even know how their own property's electricity/gas connection works. previous tenants were using it free of cost, they had no records.<br>we would have lost £3000 for a renovation that was not our fault. No agent from Elliott took any responsibility.<br>My advice to all tenants: ALWAYS take your own check-in/check-out photos and videos, and always raise a dispute if you feel the bill is unfair. Don't trust verbal "all ok".<br><br>Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.- 7th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I contacted Matt Davies to view a property in mid May. After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.

18th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.
