Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.

Georgia maintained regular communication throughout the purchase process and provided support whenever we had queries or required additional information. She dealt with the hurdles of the process with care and showed great patience and empathy, understanding our situation as part of a chain. Kayleigh made sure our transaction does not get effected with any pauses and see's it through to end.

No question was too much as I had many with the new Laws coming in. She was always calm in her approach and always returned my calls. I also had a last min glitch and Swati was on the case straightaway and got it sorted quickly. They are rigorous in the checks and making sure everything is in place. Thank you very much and also wanted to say thank you Maryam who supported me through the process and paperwork. Great team ??????

They suggested the top value for my property and achieved a sale within a week of marketing at the asking price. Completion within 12 weeks. The entire experience was made easy with their assistance and I remain delighted with their performance.

They have looked after my elderly parents’ rental property for over 15 years, and in that time have been so much more than just letting agents — always kind, patient, caring, professional and incredibly efficient. Their support and advice over the years has been invaluable, and they’ve consistently gone above and beyond to help my parents, always treating them with such respect and genuine warmth. It has been a real comfort to our family knowing the property was in such safe and capable hands. Now that my parents are selling the property, Kathi & Sue have continued to be amazing — helping us with historical paperwork and information for the solicitors and buyers without hesitation. We honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. They have been absolutely fantastic, and my parents will truly miss them — not just professionally, but personally as well. Thank you both so much for everything.
9th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Would give 0 stars. Easily the worst letting agents in Reading. They’ll never fix the problems and the basic requirements from you. Whatever you report goes into deaf ears. We’ve been reporting about faulty blinds , leaking bathroom and lots of sharp nails from beneath the carpets for more than 6 months with no one turning up even once. Stay away even if the property looks cool.

Selling a home can be stressful at the best of times, but doing so while expecting my third baby added a whole extra layer of pressure—and Shannon handled everything with incredible professionalism, care, and dedication. She worked tirelessly throughout the entire process, going above and beyond what we ever expected. What really stood out was her constant communication; she was always in touch with every estate agent in the chain, making sure things were progressing and pushing wherever needed to keep everything moving as quickly as possible. It genuinely felt like she was as invested in the sale as we were. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her reassurance and proactive approach made a huge difference during such an important and busy time in our lives. Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The Team at Ford, more than delivered on that. They found a selection of prospective Tenants for me to consider and handled the process from start to finish. This gives me the peace of mind that my property is being well looked after had been a hassle free process and I would definitely recommend them

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
