16th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)I received the most appalling treatment by the man who was answering my calls to try and arrange a viewing one of this agency's rental properties.<br>For over the course of more than a week, I had to chase them repeatedly because I wasn't receiving any updates. One member of staff had previously told me the delay was because they were unable to reach the current tenant. However, when this man answered my calls, I was given a completely different explanation.<br><br>The most concerning part was the way I was spoken to. I had previously asked a simple question to ask about what the neighbours were like, which is a perfectly reasonable question when considering where to live. Instead of answering professionally or simply saying they couldn't comment, he sighed, even raised his voice, and told me it's an 'unusual request'. He also repeatedly mentioned a 'difficult neighbour' in the building, despite the fact this had nothing to do with the viewing as he was not living adjacent to the flat I was enquiring about, it was also unrelated to the questions I was asking.<br><br>Throughout the conversation I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing him to simply arrange a viewing. Other agencies have been professional and tried to help me, instead I received total disrespect and was shouted at over the phone. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and 0 respect towards customers. It's no wonder there are so many 1 star reviews saying how rude they are. Avoid.

He was quick to chase solicitors on both sides to ensure a prompt completion two months after our offer was accepted.
1st Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)I would like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and helpful advice given to me by the rep from Romans Estate agents, George Steedman during his visit to evaluate our family home. First we sat in the lounge to discuss the house and the considerable services Romans had to offer & their wide network of connections especially with London. The portfolio showed some of the houses shot from unusual angles making them appear striking. During the subsequent tour his focus was on the house as a family home rather than its obvious capacity for extensions & the like.<br>I felt that Romans would deliver a personal touch, seeing every house as unique & that they would handle any transaction with care & consideration.

Everyone was kept informed so it didn’t matter when I rang the office, they all knew what was happening with the property. They were great with viewings and were always on time for the people viewing my house and provided great feedback from the viewings. Thank you all so much for your help with the sale of my home

20th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)What can you say in a comparison study? No one sells a house regularly, and without some regrets. None of us feels that they’ve achieved what the house was worth to us. But Milsom was transparent in their dealings, reported quickly on the viewings, were responsive to information requests, and clearly knew their market. They were professional!
16th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)The most important thing in business is communication which Hamptons sadly lack from. We had to constantly chase on outcomes of the few viewings we had which isn’t good business. I also found your telephone system to be nothing short of useless. When we called you we were always greeted with please hold as we are busy ! Then the system would shut off and you would have to call back again ! I can see why small independent people ( social Media experts ) who are hungry for business are winning against the high street outlets

2nd Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)Just sold my flat through Robertsons and I genuinely can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough.<br><br>It was a pretty rough ride with plenty of complications along the way, but the whole team worked incredibly hard and went above and beyond to help get the sale over the line. They were honest, hardworking, helpful and always willing to do whatever they could to keep things moving.<br><br>I dealt with several members of the team throughout the process and every single person was friendly, professional and helpful. 31st Oct 2025 (1 year ago)We were extremely impressed selling our house through Bovingdons this summer, in a difficult market they were persistent, very polite and great communicators. Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
10th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Today (12/12/25) at around 09:30 on the M4, one of your drivers driving a Mini, registration LS73 GXC, was continuously using his mobile phone while driving and hogging the middle lane. Once he finished using his phone, his driving became even more concerning. Despite the speed being reduced to 40 mph, he began driving aggressively, flashing other drivers to move faster, and also attempted to undertake other vehicles. His behaviour was reckless and extremely dangerous. Given that this vehicle is displaying full company branding, this reflects very poorly on your business. If you employ drivers like this, it may be worth reconsidering allowing them to operate company-branded vehicles, as it presents a serious risk to public safety and your company’s reputation. I truly wish I had dash cam footage, as I would have reported this incident directly to the police. I hope this matter is taken seriously.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

Shana brought us several well-qualified offers quickly, answered our questions promptly, and coordinated the painting, cleaning and inventory so everything was ready for the move-in date. Carla gave clear, patient answers on the terms and the paperwork, and was always quick to help. Highly recommend Shana, Carla and the Maidenhead team.

From the initial viewing all the way to completion, everything was wrapped up in under two months, and I was able to move in exactly within my desired timescale.
