He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!

19th May 2026 (30 days ago)We used Elliot and smith to put our first little home on the market. From the moment they visited and gave a valuation they have been brilliant. They are not unrealistic like some estate agents and they was always at the other end of the phone. Julie, Steve Dan & Zuhre have dealt with our sale so well and was making sure the process was quick and efficient. When there was times of uncertainty in our chain they were so reassuring and supported us in our decisions, in making sure they was the right ones.They really are an incredible bunch of people and so kind and down to earth who have now become good friends of ours. Would ALWAYS highly recommend E&S , they are an absolute credit to the “ Rayleigh estate agent scene” who put in so many hours in the day to make sure their clients receive the best service. Hopefully we don’t have to move again, but if we do, we will without a doubt use Elliot & Smith. Amazing!

The team are professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process of letting and managing. Communication is always clear and timely, and any questions or issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. What really stands out for me is their friendly and approachable attitude — they make what can often be a very stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Their attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to providing great customer service as second to none. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient letting agency. Thank you all, for your hard work and support! I truly appreciate each and every one of you. 3rd Jun 2026 (15 days ago)After meeting with a number of local estate agents to sell our property, we decided to go with Connells due to their confidence and positive attitude to not only getting the property on the market quick, but also in being able to showcase it to the right prospective buyers. This resulted in a number of viewings and offers. Even through the whole process, which included probate, the team were in contact to guide me through the sale and see it through to completion in approx 3 months. I'm actually surprised at how easy and straightforward it all was, and well within the time frame Harrison and Jack had suggested it would be. Would definitely recommend the team at Connells in Rayleigh.

She guided us step-by-step, was always available for calls, and kept us updated every single day. We always knew exactly where we stood. She was incredibly reassuring, kept everything running smoothly, and really put us at ease. We couldn’t recommend Bairstow Eves enough, especially with Claire handling our sale.
10th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Robert Michael Estate Agents handled the recent sale of our house in Thundersley. They provided advice on realistic pricing and marketed the property well, securing interest and negotiating a very fair offer. When we encountered a problem with a severe water leak during the cold weather in January, our Agent, Dean Ellis, played a key role in getting the property repaired while retaining the buyer's interest. Dean really went the extra mile for us, arranging contractors, allowing contractor access to the property for us and monitoring/ emptying the dehumidifiers as it dried out. Thanks to Dean the sale was completed on 9th March.

They answered all questions promptly and with care. They chased whenever I asked and were an amazing conduit between myself and the buyers. Please consider Amos if you are thinking of selling. The whole team are caring, polite and courteous. They showed enthusiasm when conducting viewings of my home, which had various offers within 2 weeks of being on the market. The photographs taken were so professional.

20th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)Moved out on 1st of November from a property managed by Lordsons. One month notice was given, as per my contract, and yet deposit is still to be returned by them, even if they had landlord’s confirmation to return in full. Not responding to calls or e-mails and now their website is no longer active. I suspect they never held my deposit in a protection scheme as I cannot find it on any of the main ones. Searching on the internet, it seems like they were banned by Southend Council in 2024. Stay way clear from this con agency!! I suspect a lot more people are or will be in the same position as I am!!

10th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)We had previously used another supposedly successful/well known/etc. yawn…local agent and were underwhelmed by their lack of energy & interest in helping us sell our Thorpe Bay property. We approached Hendricks & got a very different and positive response. Hendricks are a relatively young but extremely switched-on outfit that knows it needs to perform in order to establish itself. We felt Hendricks listened to us describe our situation and stepped up to ensure an all-round improved customer experience. Brad was an incredible front man - highly responsive from start to finish. Alfie demonstrated real depth of understanding contractually and the combination of their team was highly supportive and led to a very fast offer-to-completion time of 9 weeks! In an industry renowned for its disproportionate share of empty promises we would recommend Hendricks unreservedly.
