21st Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Thank you so much for making our sale happen so easily and quickly, at pretty much the full asking price. I will always use you for any property sales.
13th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)A fantastic team who really care I would 100% recommend them. Especially Carla and Ryan who gave me a 1st class service, they really go above and beyond to get the job done.
9th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I would definitely recommend Thomas if you are looking for a brilliant estate agent. His knowledge, communication and feedback went above and beyond what I had ever expected. He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!
9th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)I would recommend Horizon Estate Agents, everyone there is professional, friendly and helpful. They kept me up to date and well informed every step of the way when selling my property, nothing was too much trouble for them - great service thank you!
20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)If only all estate agents were like Elliott & Smith
We recently sold our property with Elliott & Smith and we really appreciated the friendly, efficient and professional manner of all the staff regarding viewings and the whole sales process, we were always kept informed.
Zuhre especially, helped us from the day we decided to sell right through to getting the exchange/completion date agreed.
Moving is very stressful but Elliott & Smith definitely made it a lot easier it’s just a shame we couldn’t find the right house to buy through them.

26th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Brilliant Estate Agents. So helpful and friendly from start to finish.
Held my hand throughout and so patient.
Thank you all .
4th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)I can not praise the staff here highly enough. To start, handling the home of a recently deceased and much loved Mother must be tough. But, the careful balance of compassion, care, professionalism and then the business was navigated with incredible skill. The ease with which the house went on the market was amazing, the pictures, description, the overall presentation was so impressive I almost bought it myself.
More than that though, when all was concluded the aftercare and advice was so very much appreciated.
I will never be able to praise or thank the team enough.
A particular mention to Jack and Michaela, who had to endure more than they ever should.
Myself and Fudge (shshsh it’s a secret) thank you, from the pieces of my heart
12th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Amazing Service. I mainly spoke with Ben. He was always proactive. Really appreciate the professionalism! :)
7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)I had been trying to sell my house for several months. My previous agent was helpful enough, but they simply couldn't find a buyer who was ready and able to proceed.

From the moment I switched to Bairstow Eves (Rayleigh), the difference was obvious. On day one, they arranged for a professional photographer to take photos and a video of my home — and they'd already lined up two viewings with interested buyers. Both wanted to buy the house! During the viewing, the agent built a genuine rapport with the buyers, really understanding what my property had to offer.

Even after accepting an offer, their care didn't stop. Bairstow Eves has continued to liaise with everyone involved, actively chasing the paperwork to keep the sale moving.

All in all, I've been delighted with their professional service — both before and after the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
10th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)Rented for years didn’t update property and repairs were poor

29th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)I should have written this review a long time ago, but even to this day, thinking about the whole situation still makes me angry. I kept putting off writing this review, but I’ve decided it’s better to say something now than never. My experience with Hopson Property Southend was extremely disappointing. The service was poor, and the manager, Richard, was not helpful when it came to resolving our issue. There were no call-backs, no proper follow-ups, and we were constantly having to chase them for updates. What really frustrated me was how proactive they were when it came to demanding money, yet when it came to actually solving problems, there was very little urgency or cooperation. Despite making numerous attempts to get the matter resolved, nothing was properly sorted and we were ultimately left with no choice but to give up because they simply would not cooperate. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and the way the situation was handled has stayed with me to this day. I would not recommend them based on our experience. I would give it a negative star if there was an option.
14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)Would not recommend. I’ve been a customer in various properties for over 10 years. Service charges aren’t justified. They make amounts up, charge you for them and don’t carry out the work. Multiple other tenants I know have said the same about them. Despite a decade-long relationship, if you owe them £1, they will send out bailiffs without warning.
6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)The agency made our move so easy! They updated us about everything on time and clearly. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a smooth and easy move. Thank you for all your help!
11th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)I had a very positive experience with Barat Estate Agents, particularly with Mr. Matthew, who handled the communication and coordination between us and the landlord throughout our lease.Matthew was exceptionally kind, polite, understanding, and professional. He took the time to understand our situation and always tried to find solutions that worked for everyone involved. What impressed me most was how approachable and easy to contact he was.
The entire team at Barat Estate Agents were helpful, supportive, and professional.
I would highly recommend Barat Estate Agents to anyone looking for a reliable, understanding, and professional estate agent. Thank you for all your help and support!

24th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Chiddicks Homes helped us find a commercial tenant. Easy to deal with, well organised and efficient. I enjoy working with them.
20th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Helen Ed and team I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your support and professionalism in helping me sell my house, particularly during such a difficult period following the passing of my husband. The past months have been incredibly challenging, and your sensitivity, understanding, and expertise have made a world of difference. From the very first meeting, you demonstrated genuine compassion and guide me through every step of the process with patience and reassurance. Your attention to detail, clear communication, and a willingness to answer all my questions helped to ease my worries and give me confidence in the decisions we made together. I truly appreciate the extra care you took in managing viewings and negotiations, always respecting my wishes and ensuring that the process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, the sale was completed effectively, allowing me the space and support I needed on my family and being able to move forward. Thank you once again for your kindness and professionalism. I could not have asked for a better team to help me the this difficult time. I will always be grateful for your support. With sincere thanks, Deborah Murray

Hendricks Estate Agents - Southend-On-Sea
Hendricks Estate Agents, 812- 812a London Rd, Leigh-on-Sea , SS9 3NH(61 reviews)
9th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)From the moment we met Alfie, it was really a no brainer to use Hendricks for the sale of our property. He knew the area and what other properties were selling for and we had a good feeling about him. The sale went through quickly and efficiently and I would thoroughly recommend Hendricks estate agents.
