21st May 2026 (12 weeks ago)Absolutely lovely experience had with Erin. Moving and renting is a very challenging experience and stressful, especially on move day. Erin has gone out of her way to communicate in a soft and gentle manner to calm my nerves and to accommodate my requests whenever I have had a need during my tenancy. She is very responsive and I havent had to wait for days for a response to any question or request, unlike other agencies. I am very appreciative of this and am sure she has a lot on her plate, yet still gets this right. I hope she is appreciated as the gem she is on that team and hope this goes a long way in saying "Thank you".

From the initial viewing right through to exchange and completion, the communication was excellent throughout the entire process.<br>A special thank you to Joanna, who went above and beyond to make everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. She was always helpful, responsive, and genuinely cared about making the experience a positive one. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to guide me through buying my first home.<br>I would highly recommend Gascoigne Halman in Altrincham to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

30th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.
24th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)After my partner wrote a 1 star review (which let me remind you is completely allowed on a rating site and was an honest reflection of our experience with jameson and partners), the managing director has been emailing us about it.<br>Not to apologise, not to try and get better as a business, but to let us know that she doesn’t think it’s a just review. She even mentioned that the vendors might share our review with other local agencies to “pre-warn them of this behaviour” if we don’t take it down.<br>This is all in an email of which I have saved.<br><br>We would like to reiterate that we have no problem with the vendors. They have every right to get as much for their property as they can. We understand that completely and wish them nothing but the best.<br><br>To Jameson and partners, I would implore you to read the review again. We had issues with your communication, your exclusivity agreement and since then how you conduct yourselves.<br><br>This is what the 1 star review is for, warning other first time buyers of our experience.<br><br>We will not be taking down the initial review nor this review so please stop asking. All we hope is other first time buyers chose their estate agents wisely!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The entire process was very smooth and we’re so happy with our new house. I’d highly recommend Thompson's to anyone looking to buy or sell a house!

Buying or selling a house can be a stressful process, but the team at Thornley Groves were consistently professional, supportive, and impressive throughout. Chris, the branch manager, initially helped us with putting in our offer and was fair, transparent, and professional from the outset, which immediately gave us confidence in the process. Claire regularly checked in with both us and the vendor to ensure everyone was aligned and that all paperwork was progressing promptly. This made us feel well supported and helped keep things moving quickly without unnecessary delays. As we were part of a chain, there were some challenges in getting the top and bottom of the chain to agree on a completion date. Jamie, who originally showed us the property, was exceptional in handling this. She took the initiative to draft a detailed email, bringing all parties together, and used her professionalism and experience to resolve the situation and secure an agreed completion date. Her efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth conclusion to the transaction. Overall, I cannot recommend the team at Thornley Groves highly enough.
