1st Nov 2024 (25 weeks ago)I have just purchased a property and CJ hole Downend were the sellers agent. I am really impressed at how professional they are. The people I had contact with were Lucy and Paige. They answered my queries quickly and efficiently. They were really kind too. I would certainly recommend them to anyone selling a property.
24th Apr 2025 (1 day ago)I would appreciate an update every now and again. I have called the branch several times but I haven’t been able to speak to anyone who is dealing with my property. I have no idea if it’s normal to have two viewings since tge property was listed or if the price is too high.
28th Jan 2025 (12 weeks ago)Since moving into my property last Friday, I had a few issues with the bathroom that needed fixing. Riley was great, I had a plumber out by Monday, and problem was fixed that day. He has been very helpful in what’s been a stressful time for me. I can’t thank him enough.
23rd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We are landlords looking to relet our property when our previous long-term tenants left. D W Smith & Company have provided an outstanding service. The property has needed refurbishment throughout and without the agent’s help we would have struggled to find and organise tradespeople to complete the works needed to the high standards required in a timely manner as we are located at the other end of the country. D W Smith & Company have provided a stress free, seamless service for us and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

29th Nov 2022 (2 years ago)Experience was very good with the offer received £20k (yes, £20k) above advertised price. I had 3 agents value property and all 3 were within £5k of each other. Back up team were great and I was kept informed of viewings at all times. Couldn't ask for any more. Property went to best offers after 7 views in under a week.
28th Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)We bought a repossession which was a complicated and stressful process but Hunters were very efficient, clear and acted with compassion throughout. Pascha is the reason we put an offer in in the first place as she brought a down to earth and realistic picture, which is something we noticed with all Hunters' agents and was refreshing. It has been a smooth process so far and the whole office has kept us well informed. They have all been great including Simon and Bradley. We have now accepted an offer on the property Thanks Neil

6th Apr 2025 (19 days ago)Arc helped us sell our property in Hindley and they were fantastic throughout the entire process. Can’t recommend them enough! We chose Arc because Dawn was really knowledgable about properties in the area, and they valued our home more accurately than other estate agents. They also took brilliant photos and videos which really helped our house sell, and we accepted an offer within just a few weeks of going live (over Christmas too!) Angela and the team were honestly more helpful than our solicitors the whole way through – I wouldn’t go with anyone else.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Gino, Lisa and Connor were super responsive and communicative, and I felt supported as a buyer from my first viewing to completion. I wish all estate agents were as good. I will definitely calling Gino if and when I ever want to sell!
11th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Prince Street Studios Apartment was very clean, great location, great price and wasn't noisy even on a Saturday night, The Hopewell team provided great information regarding all the details I needed to know about the key safe, I had no issues at all, would stay here again in the future!
5th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Christine and the rest of the staff are incredibly accommodating, they are friendly, understanding and always willing to go the extra mile. The welcome pack I received when I moved in was unexpected but a really pleasant surprise, the move in and out was an uncomplicated process and would definitely use Romans in Swindon again if I ever move back there, I highly recommend them.
