After experiencing property from hell from another agency, the difference with Connells was night and day! Speedy, great communication, reassuring and super helpful and patient! So lovely to talk to over the phone, never felt like I was too much of a hassle! Super super friendly. 5th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)We bought a property that was marketed and being sold by Connells Torquay. For backstory, we sold a property with Taylor’s who had excellent communication, weekly updates, a very active sales progression worker and so our experience with Connells was unfortunately the stark opposite. Some positives to begin with- we were very welcome to have as many viewings on the property we bought, we never felt rushed and never felt like we were an inconvenience. Lauren and Harrison were pleasant, they were knowledgeable and they were friendly. The negatives- trying to get hold of anyone is so hard. Normally at least 8 calls to get through to the Torquay branch. This was also mentioned by our selling agent (she mentioned difficulty and sometimes inability to get through to/contacting Connells). We were told that they would do something a number of times but never did (e.g return a call on a specific day and then not, said they’d chase up a question with the seller but never did or certainly not tell us the outcome if they did). We never had any updates on the progression of our purchase, not once were we contacted by anyone to give us any updates, whereas our selling agent would be communicating between us, and our buyer once a week without fail. Perhaps most concerningly, I believe we were potentially given the wrong keys on completion date. We were handed two sets of keys and none of them opened the front or rear doors. Fortunately there was a key safe and we were planning to change all of the keys anyway. But it’s concerning if we were given keys to someone else’s property. Connells please get in touch to arrange collection of these keys if they do belong to another property and you need them back. We did not sell a property with Connells Torquay, but we would actively avoid selling or buying from Connells in the future based on comparing directly our experience with Taylor’s sales progression vs Connells sales progression.

25th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)My friend and I were discussing the sale of his property and I did a quick valuation check which emailed my details to connells. The following day I got a call asking if I was interested in selling. No problem, I explained the situation to a very nice guy and asked that I be taken off their system as the house was not mine, if my friend wanted help then he'd get in touch. 1 week later I have had 8 calls, from different connells members asking the same darn thing. Don't listen, won't take a hint.

I had a few troubles with references/ guarantors but they walked me through it all and were very patient with me which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Myself and my children now have somewhere we can call home and we couldn’t be anymore thankful!

Lee, Hannah and Sharon worked hard to find out what he actually wanted and his main priorities.<br>Location required near Northam Type of property a flat .Things needed nearby a shop and bus stop within walking distance.<br>A property that did not have a expensive maintenance contract.<br>All for under £150.000.<br>Armed with this knowledge we were shown the first flat that ticked all the boxes.<br>We were also shown other flats to help him decide.<br>Without the help and patience from Lee, Hannah and Sharon I don't think I would have been able to find just what my cousin required and I think moving him would have been very difficult. I am pleased to say he is delighted and is settling in very well. Thanks for your expert help

11th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Unlike other estate agents that we tried, EweMove are without a doubt the best estate agents around with their proffessionalism, knowledge, network, skills, dedication and enthusiasm. They were encouraging and caring during the many viewings, then once an offer was accepted they kept us constantly updated on the sale progression within the chain, which at times was more than our own solicitors managed to do.... As people now have more choice on both types of properties, locations and values, its becoming harder to sell properties, especially the larger and more costly properties, but thanks to Tom, Abi, Connor, Laura, Russell & the rest of the team we have successfully sold and exchanged contracts last week on our property and can now look forward to a new chapter in our later life's. Well done and a big thank you to the EweMove Team.

Greenslade Taylor Hunt came up on their listing as a top performer, providing information on sales etc. I met with Ollie who said that he would market the property differently. Greenslade Taylor Hunt provided a brochure with full details and great photos. Communications outstanding regular feedback. Brooke showed prospective buyers around, did a fantastic job securing a sale in just a few weeks. Amber and Curtis at the office played an important part too, always helpful knew the current position of my house sale. You even get a monthly report. I cannot fault the team outstanding service. Well Done. Highly recommended.

They listened to what we needed (we have unique circumstances and needed a property that was wheelchair accessible and would grow with us as a family). They identified a property, facilitated online and in person viewings and answered all of our queries. As with most house purchases, something stressful crops up last minute - and they dealt with it seamlessly! The entire team are brilliant, often working unsociable hours to make sure their clients are happy. We have bought our dream first home and couldn’t have done this without their help. 7th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I was mostly looked after by the wonderful Milly Orchard at Fulfords. (And, on the occassion I called when she was out, by Tammy, who was also wonderfully warm and helpful!). Milly was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional while I had to sort everything out on a crunched timescale for finding and moving in to a new place as a tenant, and helped me every step of the way to get into my new, wonderful place to live. Some of the usual process was complex in my case - difficulty accessing documents, having changed my name - but Milly was incredibly helpful in letting me know what we could do, how to do it, and generally keeping me informed and reassured as we figured it all out. It would have been infinitely more stressful without knowing I was in Milly’s hands, and she’s an absolute credit to Fulfords. Absolutely delighted by my move, and Fulfords were wonderful every step of the way. Moving can be so hectic and stressful, and they were wonderful, professional, helpful, and most of all amidst the stress of moving, every interaction felt warm and human and kind.
