23rd May 2026 (30 days ago)I needed 3 valuations for probate. From the moment Andy came along to carry out the valuation, we knew that this was the estate agents we would engage for the house sale. The advice given to market the house was invaluable. Once Samuel's was engaged, the team at Samuel's sprung into action. We had so many viewings and offers over the first few days and settled on a perfect buyer who has now moved into the property. For the whole journey, we were kept informed, via email and regular telephone calls. So many in fact, my 5 year old grandson asked "was that your friend Karen calling Granny"! Indeed, it really felt that the whole team became friends. We had fun and banter along the way. But the end product was so professional and successful. Samuel's was the highest valuation and the house sold within 2 weeks. I asked for a recommendation for a solicitor as did the buyer. The sale went through so smoothly and took just 7 weeks. I will definitely use Samuel's again and have been just amazed at the level of service. Just thank you to the whole team. I could not be happier with the service provided.

From viewing the property to application and signing of tenancy was just over a week, and they had me moved in within two weeks of initially viewing the property! - 21st Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)Following a bereavement I had to sell the family home, I wanted a local estate agent as they know the area well. Made an appointment to meet Lewis from Connells of Plympton at the property and he went through the options we had to sell the property, we decided to go with the modern auction method which was a great time saver as probate was delayed by several months. Lewis and the Connells team, along with the auctioneer kept in touch regularly throughout, and finally with Grant of probate, we commenced the auction. Lewis handled over two dozen viewings and oversaw the reserve and liaiased with bidders, being local he knows his patch well, plus i could keep tabs on the bids via the auctioneers website, which took the pressure off myself. The auction was done within 14 days and sold to our satisfaction, which has been a huge relief. The fees involved were very reasonable also, and we are grateful to Lewis and Connells for guiding us through the process. Will complete within 56 days period as well, so an outstanding service from Lewis and Connells and it is a pleasure to highly recommend them, if you're not sure, then ask someonewho is, only takes a phone call and they're more than happy to help and they're genuinely nice people.
29th May 2026 (24 days ago)Avoid at all cost! They wasted months of our time, didn’t manage to secure more than one viewing, not even mentioning actual sale. At the beginning, they made us come to their physical office at multiple occasions to sign documents and provide our ID for ID check. Nothing online, quite an inconvenience. After that they didn’t bother sending us the contract until we asked for it. They kept swapping agents all the time, the communication throughout was very poor and inconsistent. It felt like they acquired our house and expected it to sell itself and they’d just get their fat commission. When we finally got sick of the inactive approach, we filed our notice and the contract was to run out on a certain date - meaning the date was a cutoff for them to have our consent to represent our house and advertise it. The day after the cutoff, the property was still for sale online, meaning our current agent couldn’t post the add with fresh pictures. If I hadn’t kicked off, the house would have still been online, under their agency’s name. I naturally complained and they had to cheek to deny their incompetence throughout the whole process. Now that we have a new agent, it opened our eyes how bad Miller’s service actually was. They priced our property right and within a few hours of the house being online, they managed to secure three viewings already. All the ID checks and agreements are online and fully transparent. They’re extremely proactive and communicate every day, know their clientele very well and are driven to actually complete the purchase. Basically everything Miller’s never did.

11th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)We recently bought a house through Wilkie May & Tuckwood (which was not planned as we did have another house purchase lined up but for reasons outside of our control (very slow third parties…) this didn’t go through). Our chain below was ready to exchange but our purchase was nowhere near ready, so we had to make the decision to look at other properties as our chain looked as if it would fall apart if there was no progression. We found a house listed with Wilkie which my wife and I did fall in love with when we visited. We explained our situation to Thea and advised we would need to get the purchase through as quick as possible to try and keep our chain together. In record time (8 weeks) the house sale was through and we’ve now moved in and beginning to enjoy our new lives. Throughout the process, Richard, Thea, Mark and Vicky were incredibly helpful, responsive and friendly. I have no doubt in my mind that their work on this purchase is a big part of the reason why we were able to get the purchase through and save our chain in such a quick time. Even after the purchase had gone through, the team at Wilkie have still been willing to help with queries and questions we have about the local area and services. Honestly, if you’re looking at a house being marketed to through these guys you’re in safe hands. This is clearly a company who take pride in their work and the local area. We felt valued as buyers which was very refreshing. Thanks for everything you’ve done for our family!

From step 1 we were very pleased with the service we received - Becky was super helpful on our first ever viewing, guiding and reassuring us. She had taken the time to write down lots of information for us so she could answer any of our questions - this is something that we didn’t have with most other estate agents! After we had chosen our property, Sharon and Hannah kept us informed the whole way, checking in with us regularly. We are very grateful for everyone’s time and would 100% recommend buying through Regency!

They are genuinely happy to be able to help. We bought a house through Fulfords a while back and Sean and the team have been part of the story ever since. The aftercare provided has been brilliant. Our relationship continues long after we got the keys. We have had a little property related issue that we needed some help with. I walked into the office a bit worried. Sean saw my face and smiled when he saw me, sat me down and offered me a cup of tea. He then listened carefully to the problem, and even though it was nothing to do with him, he smiled again and said ‘leave that with me.’ I walked out reassured and smiling. A few hours later Sean phoned me and said, ‘it’s all sorted.’ ???? The on going relationship we have with Sean, his team and the company as a whole is such a nice one, it feels like I’ve made a friend.????
