I have tried to book a viewing and "Jack" on the phone has said no and that it will be a waste of time and also that they are not there to show people a jolly good time around properties. He has then gone on to say that they don't have to give buyers good customer service when I said he was being very rude and their allegiance is to the vendor not the buyer. When I asked why was it so difficult to book the viewing and even then he didn't help book a viewing.<br>I am astounded by the customer service, discrimination and subconscious bias that the staff have against customers just simply wanting to view a house

We were not informed that the property was subject to probate, despite this being important information that should have been made clear from the outset. This led to avoidable inconvenience and additional expense.<br><br>After raising a formal complaint, the matter was handled by Connells' customer relations team rather than the Spencers branch. They investigated our concerns thoroughly and ultimately resolved the complaint to our satisfaction by providing a full refund, for which we are grateful.<br><br>While I appreciate the way Connells handled the complaint, it does not change our experience with Spencers. I hope the branch improves its communication so future buyers are given key information at the earliest opportunity.

17th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)My friend had a very disappointing experience with Sarina. From the very beginning, she did not clearly explain the rental process or the requirements, and she showed very little interest in presenting the property in the way a professional letting agent should.<br><br>After my friend had already paid the deposit, she was informed that she could no longer rent the property. Different reasons were given, but they did not seem to reflect the real situation. It left us with the impression that they simply did not want to offer her the property.<br><br>The lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude made this a very frustrating experience. My friend is extremely disappointed with how she was treated and would not want anyone else to go through the same experience. I cannot recommend this service based on what happened.

She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel really relaxed and comfortable. She took the time to answer all our questions properly and never made us feel rushed at all. Honestly, one of the best experiences we’ve had with a letting agent — Eleanor is a real credit to the team. Thank you again!

The viewing was nicely timed without being rushed and follow-up emails sent on as promised. Having used Newton Fallowell as agents quite a few years ago for my rental properties & now a tenant myself - it really is a refreshing change to know that you are in good hands. I do believe that they are a company that are looking after the best interests of both the tenants and landlords. Highly recommended !

Communication was brilliant throughout the entire process and the sale was completed in a timely period. The communication was fantastic and Donna could not have done more to push progress and keep us in the loop. I only wish we had used them to sell our property also. Would highly recommend and would use them again when needed.

31st May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We have had a very disappointing experience with this property and the managing agency. We moved in four months ago, and the property was not properly cleaned at all. From the first day, there were multiple issues, including a severely backing-up toilet and no consistent hot water. We reported these problems immediately, but they were not properly resolved. The toilet issue was even noted in the inventory, but we initially assumed it was a minor scaling problem. Within a couple of days, it became clear that it was a serious fault. At the same time, we have never had reliable hot water since moving in. After three months of ongoing issues, we informed the agency that we would escalate the matter to the relevant authorities and consider moving out legally. Instead of addressing the problem, they blamed us for “overusing” hot water, which makes no sense given that we have not even had consistent access to it. After each engineer visit, we were told that reports would be shared, yet the agency repeatedly claimed there was no issue with the system. During the most recent visit, I recorded video evidence where the engineer clearly confirmed that the system is faulty and not working properly. Despite this, the agency still emailed us stating that there is no problem. We are paying full rent while not receiving basic necessities such as proper sanitation and hot water. We have solid evidence, including videos and records of communication. Tenants should be very cautious when dealing with this agency and their associated parties, including Ashby Lowery.
7th Jul 2026 (23 days ago)I was issued a section 21 eviction notice by my landlady, who decided she wanted to sell the property I rented, via Frank Innes. They were not only apologetic but immediately started helping me to find a new home. I must thank Ellie and Molly for their friendly and expert support in making my move much less stressful. They kept me informed throughout on what was happening with the flat I was moving into and were always willing to let me view the property before moving in. I also found the sales team equally friendly and professional. Before the move they would ask if prospective buyers of the house could view at a time that suited me. The whole process of moving was smooth and easy. Excellent service, Many thanks.
