From the initial valuation visit through to completion they were very professional, always easy to get in touch with via phone or email . Special mention must go to Niomi who kept me updated throughout the sales process. A highly recommended company if you're looking to sell your property.
7th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Not sure if our experience was down to the average age of the staff at the ilkeston branch of Burchell Edwards, but feel they neither managed our (Seller) or the buyers expectations during the viewings of which we had many, but no offers. On changing agents within 7days and 3 viewings we had 2 offers!!!!! I suppose the moral of this story is choose the right agent.??????

We did not have the smoothest of house moving journeys however Claire went out of her way to help solve issues quickly and calmly. Thank you!

Put the for sale board up on the wrong house. We were disappointed with the whole experience Horts are by all accounts a good agent so I’m told. Maybe we were unlucky

10th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)If you are a buyer AVOID.<br><br>Got my mum to give an offer on a house as I was busy. Andrew called me back saying the offer was rejected and thanks to GDPR I can't have her act on my behalf. I said that was fine and thank you. They call my mum again to try and get her to give more money or put an offer in on a different house 5 minutes later. No mention of that house to me. They were rude to my mum, they were rude to me and the agent who showed me round the houses never got back to me on the questions I asked.
7th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)We honestly can’t thank Choice Properties enough for everything they have done for us.<br>From the moment we decided to put our home on the market, we felt completely supported.<br>We put the house on the market on a Thursday, had a viewing by Saturday, and had sold it by Monday, something we never expected to happen so quickly!<br>But what really stood out to us wasn’t just how quickly they sold our home, it was the care, communication and reassurance we received throughout the entire process. Selling your home can be such an emotional and stressful experience, but Hannah and Eloise were there for us every step of the way. They always kept us updated, answered every question we had, and went above and beyond to make sure everything kept moving forward.<br>They were also fantastic at acting as the middleman between ourselves and the solicitors, helping to keep everyone communicating and giving us reassurance when things felt a little overwhelming.<br>They genuinely made us feel like we mattered, rather than just being another sale. Their kindness, professionalism and dedication were incredible, and we are so grateful to have had them guiding us through such an important chapter.<br>Thank you so much to Choice Properties, Hannah and Eloise. Megan was always professional, approachable, knowledgable and honest, taking the time to explain everything clearly and never making us feel like any question was too small.<br><br>Sarah has also been outstanding throughout the mortgage process. Our application wasn’t straightforward and when the bank requested additional information before making their decision, Sarah worked tirelessly behind the scenes, keeping us updated every step of the way, responding incredibly quickly to every email and always reassuring us when things felt stressful. From the very beginning, the whole team were helpful, professional and supportive throughout what can sometimes be quite a stressful process.<br><br>A special thank you to Lia, who was absolutely amazing throughout the sale. She was always available to answer all my questions, kept me updated and, most importantly, reassured me whenever I was worried or unsure about anything.
