26th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Whilst the individuals who work here can be very nice, their enforcement of actioning requests to the landlord to fix issues is sub par, and the landlords they take on are not always nice people. Before taking on the property they promised all carpets and issues with the property would be fixed, they were never even attempted to be fixed. Scaffolding went up all round the property with zero warning, all walkways looked directly into the property. Nothing was explained that there was issues with the roof. Also lost access to parking space that came with the property due to scaffolding placement. Was told it would be up 3-4 weeks maximum however was still there 4 months later when I moved out. Downstairs tenants had major damp issues in their property which the landlord refused to fix. Extremely loud tenants in the property with no action from the landlord to stop it. Drugs being sold in downstairs property, no action from the landlord. Due to insufficient insulation was extremely cold and wind blew throughout, and also meant when roof was worked on everything in storage spaces got covered in debris. Eventually got cleaned after weeks of begging. Did nothing after I received very aggressive phone call directly from the landlord as to when I enquired about the scaffolding and lack of parking. Once again, nice people, but bad management and clientele.

Molly was brilliant during both viewings. She was patient, friendly, and helpful the whole time. Even when we were measuring almost the whole house with a broken tape measure and taking longer than expected, she never made us feel rushed. Camilla was also very helpful, keeping us updated and doing her best to answer all our questions. Jake was always courteous and professional, and we appreciated the time and effort he gave us. Even though the tenancy didn’t work out in the end (for reasons unrelated to Bridges), we wanted to leave a review because the team was always polite, responsive, and supportive. Thank you to Molly, Camilla, and Jake for all your help.

The entire rental process was handled with great professionalism and transparency from start to finish. A massive thank you to Ruby Wilson, who supported us every step of the way. She was incredibly helpful with the referencing process, ensured we received all legal documentation promptly (How to Rent guide, EPC, Gas Safety), and was always quick to respond to our queries regarding the inventory and utility set-ups. It is rare to find an agency that communicates so clearly and makes the moving process so straightforward. But over the time I saw their knowledge often area grow with a dedicated contact. As a shift working they worked with me on email and that suited me fine.

He was clearly very knowledgeable about the property and the wider purchase process, and was always happy to answer questions or talk things through. Importantly, I never once felt pressured. He struck exactly the right balance between being proactive in keeping things moving and available when needed, without ever coming across as pushy or overly sales-driven. Thanks to his approach, the purchase progressed smoothly and completed successfully, which made the whole experience feel far more straightforward than I had expected as a first-time buyer. We found the perfect property with Waterfords who were handling the vendor with the upmost care and professionalism. The property was above our agreed selling point and mortgage combined but thankfully with savings and top negotiations by Chris & Henry at Waterfords, we were able to secure our dream forever home and complete the purchase in March 2026. We are over the moon and thank Waterfords for liaising with solicitors and all the parties of the property chain to get the job done. Its 5 stars from us.

Full transparency is we unfortunately did find the one bad egg of a tenant but with David’s relentless help and work ethic he over saw everything and ensured a painless experience despite the negative outcome of the tenant. Professionalism at its finest and work ethic that can not be ignored! Thankyou Bourne and hope to do more business again soon!
