We ended up purchasing a property via JDM Locksbottom which made the comms so much easier & a big shout out to Emma who navigated us through the process, taking time to keep us informed along the way. Overall a good experience & would definitely recommend JDM
21st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Really happy with the service at Mann when selling my Victorian terrace in Gravesend. 1) Had a great intro meeting with Charlotte to discuss marketing, pricing and strategy. Charlotte really understood the specifics of the area and advised brilliantly on marketing and prepping the house for sale. 2) We held a jam-packed open house (thank you Lewis!) back to back appointments which generated loads of really sensible offers. We got into a mini bidding war. 3) Chloe then handled a brilliant negotiation getting us to the top of our guide price. Communication was perfect... never pestered me but always kept me up to date. Staff were easy to speak to and always available. Overall we had a smooth, professional and easy transaction. Thank you to the team. Happy to recommend to any sellers in the area.

When we decided to sell the property Karen, Jane and the rest of the team marketed it very effectively and we got plenty of viewings. We really valued their advice throughout, which was always straight-forward, honest and transparent. A lovely bunch of people who we would highly recommend for both renting and selling.

8th May 2026 (1 day ago)Unfortunately, our experience renting through this estate agent was extremely disappointing. Throughout our tenancy we reported multiple issues with the property, including mould concerns and a broken kitchen extractor fan which was reported but never repaired during the entire 1 year and 5 months we lived there. We also requested permission to decorate parts of the property to improve its condition, but never received any response from the estate agent regarding this. Shortly after raising concerns about the condition of the property, we were served a Section 21 notice and informed by both the landlord and estate agent that the property was being sold. Less than a month after vacating the property, it has now been relisted for rent by the same estate agent using the same listing photos, which has left us feeling very misled about the reasons we were given for having to leave. Communication throughout our tenancy was often poor, and even after vacating the property we have still had no contact regarding the return of our deposit or any proposed deductions. I normally would not leave a negative review, but based on our experience I would strongly advise future tenants to carefully document everything and ensure all communication is kept in writing.

A special mention to Hugo who I have mainly been dealing with, his enthusiasm, manner and expertise is second to none. He constantly kept me updated, not only with my purchase but with everything else that was going on in the chain. I have moved house many times and they have been by far the best Estate Agents I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend them with no hesitation.

At the end, we had chocolate ready for her because I chased her to chase the seller solicitor. She didn't have to entertain me whatsoever, but her work is definitely appreciated by us. I found the sales team to be hard to engage with and dismissive in relation to viewing the property, this also included mixed messages with timelines and expectations around sale price.. However once an offer was accepted the sales progression team were outstanding, Theresa in particular became our main point of contact and handled any problems quickly and professionally, whilst always remaining approachable and friendly. we cant thank her enough for the time and support she provided with keeping the sale on track.

Selling my house hasn’t been the easiest journey, with a few difficult and uncertain times along the way and a few tears, but the team were always there to guide me, reassure me and keep everything moving forward and never gave up.
