Will is very confident and competent, even in challenging market conditions. Acorn are not difficult to get a hold of via phone, and the back office team are efficient too. Highly recommend.

Lea Carty was particularly helpful in following up with the solicitors and dealing with the enquiries. I managed to move house in a few months and whole process went through as smoothly as possible.
5th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.
22nd May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Jack from Wards at Meopham has been exceptional throughout our whole experience. He took the time to call us and get a clear understanding of exactly what we were looking for, he then arranged a viewing the following week that perfectly met our criteria. From start to finish, Jack has been in constant communication and always reachable to answer any questions we had. He has made the entire process feel so easy and stress-free. We honestly could not recommend him highly enough and can’t thank him enough for all of his help.
11th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Should have looked at the negative reviews about the return of Deposits. Susan dealt with our rental and shes blunt and doesn't really care. Happy to rent us a house that covered in marks, scuffs, cracks, broken blinds and mysterious dirt around the toilet but as soon as it comes to check out, shes happy to put forward an extortionate amount to be deducted from the deposit. Do yourself a favour, if you're going to rent through Stanfords...Don't. UPDATE: Got £190 back from a £210 dispute between stanfords/landlord. They tried about 4 times to tell me that its going to take months and just pay a reduced price (tried charging around £500 for betterment of the property) and said they would do £450. Either way, we ended up paying less than half of that, dont let them bully you into thinking youre wasting your time and NEVER just pay the random prices they pull out of their ( ( ) Luckily TDS listen to tenants and listed out that Stanfords/Landlord was trying to get money for betterment.

30th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Sevenoaks and Blackheath) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that we always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.

Good letting agents do exist!- 15th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had such an amazing experience with the whole team at Wards Cliftonville and honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. From the very beginning, every single person we dealt with was kind, professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home. The teamwork between everyone was incredible and it really made the entire process feel smooth, exciting, and stress-free. A special mention to Joe and Jonathan, who were both brilliant throughout, but every member of the team chipped in to help us whenever we needed anything. No question was ever too much trouble, responses were always so quick, and they truly went above and beyond to cater to our every need. We always felt listened to, supported, and looked after. The team showed us some gorgeous homes and took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure we felt comfortable and informed at every stage. Their communication, friendliness, and dedication really stood out and made such a difference to our experience. Thank you again to the whole Wards Cliftonville team for all your hard work and support — we’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for us!

Thank you!- 8th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)After spending six months on the market with another agent, I noticed the difference Wards offers from my first meeting with Mark. From his initial valuation visit, he gave me confidence in the price and that my flat would sell quickly with Wards. I felt the same confidence when I met Darren and Ollie. The whole team is straightforward, experienced, and very pleasant to deal with. They know the town and understand the buyers and I think having an office on Hythe High Street makes a big difference. I always felt my flat was more likely to appeal as a weekend home, and Wards found exactly that buyer within a couple of weeks of marketing it. This says a lot considering the previous agent didn’t produce an offer in six months. Once the offer was agreed, Amanda handled the progression well. She kept things moving, dealt directly with the solicitors, and was always helpful when I needed an update. That took a good amount of stress out of the process. Everyone I dealt with was approachable, professional and easy to get hold of, and the whole process felt personal and attentive rather than transactional. I would recommend Wards as first choice to anyone looking to sell or buy a property in Hythe.

What a truly wonderful experience selling my home with Wards Broadstairs in only 4 weeks! Billy , Lucy and the team have been so efficient , communicative and helpful from day one. This is a young team but they are truly keen and want to sell your property… a much better experience than I had with other agents in the town two years ago. 30th May 2026 (24 days ago)As a first time buyer, I cannot fault Miles & Barr one bit. From point of viewing, all the way through to exchange I have felt supported, listened to, understood and well taken care of! For context, I have had a very difficult sale, that’s been going on for over 14 weeks that has caused blood/sweat/tears and sleepless nights! I was assigned Debbie Thwaites to my case and I have to say without her - I wouldn’t have got through it! Not only did she provide professional guidance & advice, she was emotionally supportive which was above all, the most important part to me. She listened when I needed to rant, she bigged me up when I needed a boost, she laughed when I needed cheering up, and was a shoulder to cry on! Debbie needs true recognition for her dedication to the role. Alongside this, I also had James Cussen step into the case and I couldn’t fault him either, he was extremely helpful, offering some really helpful guidance where suitable, very communicative, supportive, understanding and overall great. Honestly, without these 2 people I would’ve given up months ago. In addition to this, whenever I rung the Ashford office, I always had friendly voices answer the phone, which really helped & made a difference!! Miles & Barr really do care. I stand by that and will definitely be coming back if I need to sell in the future!
