He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!

They provided advice on realistic pricing and marketed the property well, securing interest and negotiating a very fair offer. When we encountered a problem with a severe water leak during the cold weather in January, our Agent, Dean Ellis, played a key role in getting the property repaired while retaining the buyer's interest. Dean really went the extra mile for us, arranging contractors, allowing contractor access to the property for us and monitoring/ emptying the dehumidifiers as it dried out. Thanks to Dean the sale was completed on 9th March.

Right from the start, he went above and beyond and made what could have been a really stressful process so much easier. He was always available to answer our questions, whether it was during working hours, in the evenings or even on weekends. He kept communication flowing between us and our buyer, making sure we were always up to date and never left wondering. Ian also gave us some brilliant advice on the photos and listing, which made a real difference in getting people through the door for viewings. Throughout the whole process his experience and attention to detail was obvious. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and he genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us. Looking back, we don't think we would have sold our flat without him. Couldn't recommend Ian more highly. Thank you so much for everything

They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.

13th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)I met Andy for a property purchase, from the get go he was on the spot he followed up with vendor and arranged appointments and viewings swiftly, he also connected me to a brillient mortgage advisor who helped me secure a better deal at that time on the last minute as due to the regional middle eastern conflict the rates were rising. Additionally, Amenda helped get the purcahse she keep me in the loop, followed up with solicitors and made sure things were progressing.<br><br>I would definately recommend them.
23rd Jul 2026 (10 days ago)I successfully let my three bedroom property recently through Abbotts Basildon.Peter Chapman the lettings manager demonstrated his knowledge of the business and professionally guided the letting through to a satisfactory conclusion. I was in touch on a day to day basis with Rose Belcher who whilst only described as a Trainee Letting Negotiator, did a very professional job keeping me advised on progress and so warrants a promotion! I am happy with the efficient service I experienced from Abbotts......you will be too.
