Their communication was excellent, and they supported me every step of the way while navigating my first home purchase. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
12th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)1 star. I used Lane and Bennett to let and manage my property and would not use them again.<br><br>Communication was the first problem. I was constantly chasing them for updates and rarely got them without pushing. When they found new tenants I had to chase repeatedly just to find out whether the tenant had actually moved in. Getting hold of them by phone was a job in itself, as calls frequently went unanswered.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy there was a steady stream of maintenance issues, and on nearly every one I was steered towards their own contractors rather than being given a genuine choice. Tiles were cracked and it took repeated chasing over a long period before I was reimbursed.<br><br>The handover back to me was the worst of it. The property was returned filthy. The garden was unkept, the front driveway was unkept, there were burn marks in the carpets, the carpets had not been cleaned, and furniture was damaged. I had been charged for an inventory, yet none of this was properly recorded in it. An inventory that fails to capture obvious damage offers a landlord no protection at all.<br><br>The overall experience was of an agent that collected its fees, did not keep me informed, did not look after the property, and did not act in the landlord's interest. If you are a landlord considering them, be prepared to get your property back in a materially worse condition than you handed it over, and to do most of the chasing yourself.

They work so well as a team that everyone is well informed and each of them is equally able to assist with any queries. They work quickly and efficiently on everything they do which resulted in the speedy sale of our property at the right price. She made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable for us. We really appreciated all her help and would definitely recommend her.

She was communicative, friendly and always willing to help. The process wasn't easy (a lot of bumps in the road) but Rosie was proactive and reassuring and we got there in the end! The rest of the team are great, and Naomi also went above and beyond when I had a issue. Thanks so much team!

When our first buyer pulled out unexpectedly close to exchange of contracts the Puterrills team went into action and pulled out all stops to remarket the property and within a week we had a serious offer from a keen buyer. Nothing is too much trouble for this team, who put us at ease even through stressful times. They more than earned their fee.<br>Putterills come highly recommended as far as I am concerned. A very professional service.

3rd Sep 2026 (25 days ago)I had my dads house on the market with another estate agent for several months with very little pogress.<br>I decided to change to Leabrooks and the change was amazing even from the first meeting. Andrew was so much more dynamic and positive, and very honest which was refreshing.<br>The whole Team kept us updated at every stage, and if there were problems outside there remit they knew someone that could, and did help.<br>There was also a clear strategy if the house wasn't attracting interest, which definatly worked in our case.<br>Could not recommend Leabrooks highly enough

Joshua was really well informed about the local area and had the perfect plan of action to find the right buyers, multiple offers and achieved over asking. The portal and updates for viewings worked well for us this was seamless. Jake was also great in giving us help when it came to navigating the offers and next steps. 3rd Sep 2026 (25 days ago)So we bought and sold through W/E and what a roller-coaster!<br>The process of buying a house in England remains an absolutely travesty of daftness with a huge life change dictated by most things out of your control. I think I may have aged throughout the process but James, Kess and Morgan has kept us on the rails and supported with clear communication and guidance throughout. I think I don't really like estate agents, but in truth to get a team of people that communicate well, support you through a process and possibly provide a level of fun when things are tricky is maybe what the world needs. I like this team. Would I recommend them - Yes!
