It would've been good to meet with the agent that was showing our property, so we can explain to him more about the property, but overall we're very happy. Quick responses, dealing with queries efficiently and very professional throughout.

I was buying a property through them and, even though I wasn’t their main client, they were both really helpful and kept me updated throughout the whole process.<br><br>They were always easy to deal with, quick to respond and did a great job keeping everything moving. I really appreciate how much they helped and kept me in the loop, especially as buying a property can be pretty stressful.<br><br>Thanks again for all your help!

Buying or selling a home is such a big thing, and they really understand that. They take the time to listen, pay attention to the little details and make sure you feel looked after every step of the way. It’s the little things they do that make such a difference and put you at ease. You never feel like just another customer. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. A proper lovely team who go above and beyond.

When viewings came in and we were on holiday, they showed the clients round on our behalf. When offers came in, Georgia successfully negotiated a higher cost for my house. Their app to track the viewings and offers was also great! I'd recommend these guys in a heartbeat. thanks for everything

10th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Staff at Main and Main, in particular Kimberley Critchley, the Lettings Director, were outstanding in their level of knowledge, assistance and communication regarding the letting of my properties. Nothing was too much trouble and I was very happy to leave them to let my properties over a number of years. I would certainly be happy to recommend them to anyone.<br>They have also been extremely helpful in the recent sale of a property for me and, again, I would certainly recommend them.

Also appreciated their seamless interaction with their lettings colleagues to line everything up from tenants vacating the property through to sale completion.

29th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Just completed my first journey in owning my first home. The process had been a simple, effective and stress free transaction for myself. Lorna and other agents helped me when I started looking for properties, very helpful from the start and very open about the properties details viewed. Eventually the house had been found and applications began, very helpful in my offer and understood my requirements and reasons from the start. I had been introduced very quickly to a mortgage advisor to get everything in motion. From here I had been introduced to legal which again had been very quick to represent and cover everything thoroughly.<br><br>In between all the legal, I had further help by being allowed into the property with an agent, this had been to check and measure around the house for my plans when the purchase would be completed.<br><br>I cannot recommened Lorna and other agents at Your Move Whitehaven branch enough, amazing service, patient, understanding, helpful in everyway, polite, professional. I have further property plans for the future, if these opportunites come along, I will be using Lorna and all other agents at Your Whitehaven Branch again without thinking twice. Highly recomend for all your home purchases.<br><br>Thank you so much for helping me making this dream come true. Your amazing.

Friendly, polite and very professional in her manner - very knowledgeable about the property but any questions she couldn't answer - she got back to me promptly with the said answers. I would be more than happy to view with Paige again.

She was so quick and efficient and professional and helped me every avenue she could to ensure my offer was received. She worked along side the seller and myself, and her communication was amazing. She made the whole process feel so easy, and not intimidating. She is going above and beyond to help me buy my first home, my own little pad and it was lovely to have a girl help me along my journey who gets it. Thank you Laura you have been amazing! 29th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Balmer & Co and would not recommend them based on my experience as a tenant.<br><br>While I was living at the property, part of the kitchen ceiling collapsed. Despite the seriousness of the issue, I was left living with the damaged ceiling for around three months before it was finally repaired. During that time, I repeatedly tried to get the issue resolved, but my communications were often ignored and the overall level of service was extremely poor.<br><br>The problems continued at the end of my tenancy. Balmer & Co claimed that there were marks and scratches on the walls and sought deductions from my deposit. However, I had video evidence showing that those marks were already there before my tenancy.<br><br>The most concerning part of my experience happened when I went to their Atherton office to ask for an explanation about the DPS deposit request. I handed my phone to Rachel so she could look at the DPS request and explain to me what was happening. Instead of simply explaining it to me, she pressed the “Accept” option on my phone.<br><br>I had not handed her my phone to accept the request on my behalf. I gave it to her so she could look at it and explain the situation to me. Once the request had been accepted, I was no longer able to dispute the deductions through the normal DPS process.<br><br>I later contacted DPS about what had happened, but by that point the request had already been accepted.<br><br>Overall, my experience was extremely poor: around three months living with a damaged kitchen ceiling, repeated lack of communication, disputed claims about the condition of the property despite me having video evidence, and finally the way the DPS request was accepted on my phone when I had only asked for an explanation.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would strongly advise tenants to keep photographs and videos of the property from the beginning of the tenancy, keep all communication in writing, and never hand over control of their DPS account or phone when discussing a deposit dispute- 29th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Second time we have rented through reeds rains and dealing with phil.
