She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . I do hope all your agents across the country are as wonderful as Katie. I didn't end up buying through Chancellors in the end, but Jordan showed me several houses and was always friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. He was punctual, kept me updated and made the whole process straightforward. Even though I found a property elsewhere, I genuinely appreciate all the time and effort he put in and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a property

7th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)I had the most positive experience dealing with Allan and Harris estate agents. Your marketing, viewing and general advice was much appreciated. Always professional, approachable and provided a first class service. It made the house sale process very easy and stress free. A big THANK YOU for all your help and support - Nick you were amazing always there to answer my questions and give independent advice when it was needed. I felt your attention to detail was fantastic. Conner and Rhianna were always friendly at the end of the phone when I needed to ask questions along the way. I only met Conner in person when I handed the keys in prior to the exchange. But was taken aback when he remembered a small detail about the house - that showed he cared and had a good attention for detail. It was a long process from our first meeting and completion; due to a delay in Probate being granted - but I can honestly say I felt you guys were always there to support me and keep me up to date with relevant developments. I defiantly chose the right team to sale my house and would recommend you in future.- 2nd Jun 2026 (21 days ago)Many thanks to Alannah, Kelly and James for all their help in our recent move. 23rd Jul 2025 (10 mo. ago)Philip May's genuine enthusiasm for the property we were selling, and his ability to sell Hodsons' services sold Hodsons to me as the estate agent to choose to sell a family home. The subsequent progress has been excellent, with a well-qualified buyer lined up within weeks. The only criticism I have is that a 'For Sale' sign was erected in the garden of the property which was unoccupied, and I had specifically asked for no sign.

30th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Richard Cottrell I decided to sell my building plot and knowing the excellent service Jack and his team provides at the Grove office I spoke him. He suggested I contacted James Merrifield at there Oxford branch to discuss my options. I felt very confident with the advise he gave me on the sale process so I instructed him to proceed. like all good sales things did not go as planed, but James was with me 100% of the way sorting all the obstacles to achieve the sale. A big thank you for your help James and the professional service you provided. I would highly recommend Thomas Merrifield.

As a first time buyer, Dylan was very helpful, he explained everything to me clearly and answered any questions I had. I felt comfortable with him, knowing I can approach him with any questions or hesitations I had. Very easy to get in touch with him via call or email, and always received a response in a timely manner. Dylan always kept me up to date every step, clearly explaining what he was doing and what I needed to do.

The viewing we had was lovely. Really thorough tour of the property and overview of surrounding area by Saul. Really friendly and easy to talk to, lots of helpful advice about the process and market. She provided helpful advice when any issues arose, dealing with matters promptly for both myself as the landlord and my tenants.
21st Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)We called twice and on each occasion left a message so that the responsible person or team could get in touch regarding a property valuation. On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.

11th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Megan was incredibly kind and welcoming when me and my partner visited the house, her ever going engagement into the emails I sent and the knowledge she had over the property was brilliant, this is my first home away from my parents and Megan has made it the easiest most stress free experience I could of asked for. Megan is an asset to the team! Will go there again if we need to relocate- 25th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Hodsons found a buyer for my property with the help of Anita Smith at good price with excellent communication throughout the viewing and offer acceptance process. My buyer was a naive first time buyer who chose a terrible solicitor (Premier Property Lawyers) who presented multiple challenges throughout the convencying process such as absent communication, missed deadlines and bad paperwork. However, Hodsons with Lesley Fenwick and Kerry Nichols provided excellent support and communication to chase the buyer and their solicitor throughout the convencying process to push through the sale.
- 1st May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Graeme Pierce at Thomas Merrifield, Kidlington is a top, top professional. Estate Agents have traditionally taken a lot of stick with their fees being seen as easily earned. Not on this occasion. Graeme managed a difficult sales process with patience, with calmness and with superb people skills. Graeme earned every penny of the fee he charged, overcoming several obstacles and using the experience he has accumulated to assuage the various personalities within a complex chain. I am a GP super fan!!

She was very kind and accommodating all throughout. Navigating rentals is definitely challenging so Julia’s attentiveness and positive attitude was very comforting. A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years.
