Having rented in London for over a decade, I know how hard it is to find a good lettings agency and Russell and Tamara at DM &Co really stand out from the crowd. From my first contact they were very professional and friendly. When a landlord refused our tenancy application on a first property due to my needing a guarantor, they were empathetic and compassionate and really fought our corner. They were even happy to give us advice later as we continued our search and came up against some less scrupulous agencies. When a second suitable property came up, Russell remembered us and contacted us straightaway for a viewing and as a result we now have a lovely new rental property to call home. Unlike a lot of agents I have had to deal with, they are extremely transparent, and were happy to answer any questions we had regarding the tenancy agreement, deposits etc. I have encountered plenty of estate agencies who either don't bother to update their knowledge appropriately, or who will try to keep you in the dark just to see what they can get away with. At DM & Co there is none of this, just an honest, professional approach from a small, local team who obviously know the area well. We have been in our new property for nearly three months now and so far everything has gone off without a hitch - they are very responsive and helpful when communicating with our landlady regarding any queries we have, anything that has gone wrong in the property or anything else we have needed so far. So a big thank you to Russell and Tamara - if only more agencies were like you. Update (December 2025): after 5 years renting our much-loved property in Northolt, we have now moved on. The check out process went really smoothly and DM&Co were very human and flexible when we weren't quite sure of the timeline for moving out. Thank you both for your hard work and efficiency over the past 5 years - communication has always been great and it has been a pleasure to deal with you.
31st Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Rented a property through Carter Duthie for 8 months. Dealt primarily with Yvonne (who was lovely and a credit to their team). Always paid my rent 20 days in advance. No issues there. When I left the property, I made the choice to leave some belongings that were near enough new (clothes rail, cutlery, and crockery) to help whoever was moving in next (I know how hard it can be to get started!). Adrian emailed me after the move out inspection and charged me £50 for leaving the items there. I appreciate the terms, but I did find this a bit distasteful and 'money grabbing' when we could have left on good terms and I'd have recommended them to others. Overall a good experience, but didn't like the way it ended.
1st Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I recently used Hilton, King and Lock to sell my house and found them to be excellent. They were readily available to answer any questions or queries I had. Once the sale was agreed they were constantly tracking the progress of the transaction with solicitors and my buyer. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their home.

I had my property on the market for months with no luck, then I moved to a different estate agent who managed to sell it straight away. I found them to be unprofessional and dishonest. The best thing anyone can do is use another estate agent, a professional one not Man & Co.
18th Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)I previously had my flat on the market with Foxtons for three months and, during that time, only had around four viewings, which I was extremely unsatisfied with. I was then approached by HomeSearch, who took on the property and immediately provided honest and realistic feedback. They felt the flat was overpriced and carried out a proper assessment based on the current market. I was happy with the revised price they suggested. From that point on, the difference was clear. They generated a strong level of interest and arranged many more viewings. Arba and Michael were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their communication and professionalism stood out throughout the process. After a couple of months with HomeSearch, my property has now received an offer which Ive accepted. I would definitely recommend HomeSearch to anyone looking to sell their property.

Any questions I had they answered quickly and I felt they went the extra mile to follow up with both parties solicitors and any other third parties involved in the process. 13th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!

They listened to my concerns and agreed to refund my deposit and rent, which I appreciate. Communication improved during the process, and the matter was resolved fairly. Thank you for taking responsibility and resolving things properly.
