22nd Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)We saw a property for let online, and last week my partner reached out to the agency to request a viewing and ask what documents were needed for the application. We were told we’d get an email with the details, but never received a response. After ome week I followed up asking for both a reply and a viewing, but again, nothing. Honestly, it’s not surprising the property has been on the market for almost a year—prospective tenants shouldn’t have to chase basic communication. Because of this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, we decided to look elsewhere and won’t be dealing with this agency.

They made the selling process seamless and stress-free. Their communication was top-notch, keeping us informed every step of the way. Highly recommend!

16th Oct 2025 (25 weeks ago)I recently assisted a friend in moving out of a London apartment she had rented through this agency. Unfortunately, our experience with the agency’s representative was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. My friend, who is currently outside the UK, had asked me to collect her remaining belongings and return the keys on her behalf. When we arrived simply to do this, the agent showed up and, in an almost assault-like manner, very aggressively yanked the keys out of my other friend’s hands. We were not refusing to hand them over at all — we were simply holding them because we were in the midst of packing up her things. This was an unnecessarily physical and intimidating act that felt entirely out of line. The agent behaved rudely and treated us as if we were second-class citizens, even though we were only there to help peacefully resolve the situation on behalf of someone who couldn’t be present herself. At no point did we cause any disturbance; we were simply doing what was asked of us. It is completely unacceptable for a business representative to use physical aggression or intimidation in any circumstance. We do understand that the agency may have had prior problems with our friend — the tenant who is currently not in the UK. However, we were not her, and we had nothing to do with any prior disputes. The disrespect and aggression we were shown were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. What’s more, the incident left my friend in tears, highlighting just how distressing and unwarranted the agent’s behavior was. No one should ever be made to feel unsafe or humiliated in a situation like this. One staff member’s actions reflect the entire business, and based on this encounter, it’s clear that no one should have to deal with an agency that treats people this way. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect is beyond disappointing, and I strongly caution others to stay away from this agency entirely.

1st Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)We worked with Stuart on buying our place in Cobham and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His personal approach meant that when there were delays in the chain, he kept very calm, managed the seller very well and didn’t put any pressure on us even though the chain was at risk. Very understanding, happy to help out where he could and someone we would definitely use to sell our place in the future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
5th Oct 2020 (5 years ago)They are good people and respectful. Their terms & conditions are good . You can cancel your contract with them giving them two weeks notice which gives you a lot of freedom as you aren’t tied to many weeks of contract if thing don’t work out. However, they operate in a old fashion way. Not much use of technology. No active & dynamic sales strategies. You just hv to sit & wait until a buyer finds your property after searching through many pages of Zoopla etc.

10th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Excellent experience working with LDB Fulham. Rowan and the team were very helpful and went above and beyond for myself and my partner who moved from Ireland to London. We were consistently updated on our flat and reassured throughout. Rowan provided us with the essential criteria needed to make the transition as smooth as possible for us. Would highly recommend!!

They offered advice but gave us space to make our own decisions. They were proactive in marketing and scheduling viewings and we have accepted an offer of the asking price.
28th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)A few things which we were promised which they didn’t deliver on, we went with this estate agent because they said they’d have multiple offices working on our property, but it ended up being just one office in a different area to where we were selling. We were there for some of the viewings and they didn’t know answers to basic questions which we know we had given them information for

Communication was consistently clear and reliable, and any queries we had were dealt with promptly. Whenever maintenance issues came up, they were handled quickly and efficiently, which made living in the property easier and stress-free. What really stood out was how approachable and genuine the team are. They’re down-to-earth people who are easy to talk to and clearly care about providing a good service to tenants. Our move-out process was handled smoothly and professionally, which made what can often be a stressful time much simpler. A special thank you to Sanjay and Dylan in particular. Overall, a great experience and I would happily recommend them.

Jennifer and Clare at Surrey Abodes were not only very professional at all times but were also mindful of the stress I was under and never rushed me or put me under any pressure. They were kind and considerate. Clare would make sure I was update with everything and explained and advised in a way that was easy to understand. They will be honest with you about your property but there is no hard selling tactics. Surrey Abodes is a small independent Estate Agents and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Whilst many other estate agents are full of hot air, patronising and have no clue what they are doing, Jo and her team stand out from the crowd by being genuine, friendly, easily contactable and really good at their jobs. No overpromising or under delivering, Hestia’s know the business in and out and we felt in safe hands. They have a great eye for property and their photography is on point. We would happily buy or sell with Hestia’s again.
