14th May 2026 (10 days ago)Do NOT lease through Cound. They gave my wife & i so much anxiety and difficulty. They gave her the wrong keys, and didn't get the correct ones to her for 4 entire days, while gaslighting her that she was just using them wrong. Upon checkout they took 14 days to return the deposit, and that was after I hounded them daily for over a week. When I was adding my name to the lease we had so much trouble, due to the agent being incompetent. AVOID COUND AT ALL COSTS.
16th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)I recently assisted a friend in moving out of a London apartment she had rented through this agency. Unfortunately, our experience with the agency’s representative was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. My friend, who is currently outside the UK, had asked me to collect her remaining belongings and return the keys on her behalf. When we arrived simply to do this, the agent showed up and, in an almost assault-like manner, very aggressively yanked the keys out of my other friend’s hands. We were not refusing to hand them over at all — we were simply holding them because we were in the midst of packing up her things. This was an unnecessarily physical and intimidating act that felt entirely out of line. The agent behaved rudely and treated us as if we were second-class citizens, even though we were only there to help peacefully resolve the situation on behalf of someone who couldn’t be present herself. At no point did we cause any disturbance; we were simply doing what was asked of us. It is completely unacceptable for a business representative to use physical aggression or intimidation in any circumstance. We do understand that the agency may have had prior problems with our friend — the tenant who is currently not in the UK. However, we were not her, and we had nothing to do with any prior disputes. The disrespect and aggression we were shown were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. What’s more, the incident left my friend in tears, highlighting just how distressing and unwarranted the agent’s behavior was. No one should ever be made to feel unsafe or humiliated in a situation like this. One staff member’s actions reflect the entire business, and based on this encounter, it’s clear that no one should have to deal with an agency that treats people this way. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect is beyond disappointing, and I strongly caution others to stay away from this agency entirely.
21st Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I had a viewing for a flat in Park Royal NW10 7GD with this company today at 3:00pm I confirmed the viewing but when I arrived no agent was there I called and called and called no answer And no one called me to cancel the viewing or apologise This is disrespectful and waste of peoples time ??????????

From start to finish, the team were incredibly professional and genuinely approachable. We always felt comfortable asking questions, no matter how small. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their helpfulness made what can be a stressful process feel much more manageable.

1st Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)We worked with Stuart on buying our place in Cobham and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His personal approach meant that when there were delays in the chain, he kept very calm, managed the seller very well and didn’t put any pressure on us even though the chain was at risk. Very understanding, happy to help out where he could and someone we would definitely use to sell our place in the future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

They offered advice but gave us space to make our own decisions. They were proactive in marketing and scheduling viewings and we have accepted an offer of the asking price.
28th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)A few things which we were promised which they didn’t deliver on, we went with this estate agent because they said they’d have multiple offices working on our property, but it ended up being just one office in a different area to where we were selling. We were there for some of the viewings and they didn’t know answers to basic questions which we know we had given them information for

After I posted a review on google, suddenly they had the time to finally call me back. Not to refund my money though, to ask me why I posted a bad review and still no answer on when I will get my £400 back! Scammers!

Very responsive to our needs, easy to communicate with and when we came to give up renting and buy, she was really very flexible with helping us to do that with move out dates etc! I have known Sacha Scott agency since 2017 and they have looked after a few properties of mine. I am always impressed how hard they work, they communicate very well and keep me updated regularly and efficiently. They look after my tenants with care and make sure that any maintenance issue is properly sorted. I feel safe having them on board, knowing that they are looking after my tenants and my properties with professionalism and dedication. I highly recommend them to manage your property.

Jennifer and Clare at Surrey Abodes were not only very professional at all times but were also mindful of the stress I was under and never rushed me or put me under any pressure. They were kind and considerate. Clare would make sure I was update with everything and explained and advised in a way that was easy to understand. They will be honest with you about your property but there is no hard selling tactics. Surrey Abodes is a small independent Estate Agents and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
