Ashley made everything straightforward and was always quick to answer any questions, which really helped make the letting process smooth and stress-free. I cannot praise them enough - very professional, very reliable and so efficient! Particular thanks to Ms. Daisy Spry who has arranged and managed several tenancy issues, as well as repairs and redecorations (also Debbie and Kirstey in the past) . Very good advice, 100% reliable - a value adding service. Thank you.

Had to move relatively quickly and my situation wasn't a simple one at times but she always went above and beyond when I had questions and everything was made quick and effortless ( which can't be said for other agencies I've worked with). 29th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)We rented a student property with Brunton residential. Usually they were quick with communication and reliable with repairs and other maintenance needs. There was some issues with customer and company communication throughout but nothing too severe (emails not clear or wrong information given) as well as finding it hard to communicate once the tenancy finished. Other than that we were happy.

From getting our house on the market to helping us through the buying process, they’ve always been helpful, friendly, and easy to get hold of. Communication has been great throughout, and we’ve always felt kept up to date with what’s going on. Any questions we’ve had have been answered quickly, and nothing has ever seemed like too much trouble. A huge thank you to everyone, highly recommend!

29th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)This is the second time I’ve used Hive to sell a property in Heaton. Again the experience has been really smooth and the sale completed within 3months. The staff are all great and really responsive. Photos are always fantastic, and they were spot on with the valuation to achieve the best price. Huge thank you again!
27th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)Really confused as to why this estate agents has so many good reviews when I have received such an unprofessional service. Booked a valuation and my appointment was changed and I was emailed without asking if that was okay. When I queried this they reverted back to my original appointment. Then the estate agent didn’t show up for the valuation so I called and had the response ‘we had emailed to change the appointment time to an hour later’ which they hadn’t. They did attend the valuation all be it 30 minutes late. I was surprised no research on the area had been done prior as all previous valuers from other estate agents normally come with research and provide the value on the spot. When I received the valuation, the fee was incorrect. I then booked photographs of my property to be taken. I was then emailed with a rearrangement again (without consent) with less than 48 hours notice to the new appointment, given that the original booking was 2 weeks away. When I queried this, I was told this was an error.. yet another excuse. When I rang up to cancel moving forward with this estate agent, I explained the reasons why and the receptionist on the phone said ‘ok I’ll cancel it’ and just hung up, with no goodbye or acknowledgement, which is incredibly rude. Overall an incredibly poor experience and do not trust them to sell my property.

They did everything they could to facilitate our rental move when our previous property sold, in just 6 days! Chloe kept us up to date with every step we had to take.
