5th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would recommend everyone to avoid this ‘letting agency’. At the end of my tenancy, the communication was extremely poor, they did not inform the landlord of key information and threatened me with deductions from my deposit. It took over a month to receive any information about the deposit (despite chasing) and when I finally received a response, the deductions were laughable. A £200 cleaning fee despite the property being in a better state than when I moved in. A charge for late return of keys despite no incoming tenants and the extra days being agreed by the landlord. I questioned this and asked for evidence of cleaning invoices etc; I never got a response. I had to open a dispute with the DPS to get my money back, funnily enough they managed to respond to that. Overall a terrible and hugely stressful experience which I did not appreciate when moving house.

As first time buyers, we were unsure of the process involved and what we needed to do to begin looking for our first home. Shannon explained everything about the process and quickly obtained a mortgage agreement in principle for us so that we could begin searching for a house.<br><br>Once we had an offer accepted, Shannon's expertise was well evidenced as she continuously checked for what the best mortgage was (even on the day of the application!) so that we got the best mortgage offer for our situation. Thank you, Shannon. We can't recommend you enough! ??<br><br>Lily was incredibly helpful and informative throughout the purchase of our property. She is kind, understanding, and made sure we were kept updated as to our vendor's onward purchase. Thank you too, Lily!

17th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Absolutely fantastic customer service the Joanna went above and beyond.<br>We first had the pleasure of using the team in 2022 when we sold our first house and moved mum and dad into a bungalow. Fast forward to 2025 and we put the bungalow on the market due to dad passing, Joanna was so compassionate and understanding at such a difficult time for us as a family she never lost hope that she would find somewhere to mum to buy in the area that she wanted even when nothing seemed to be available in that area. 17th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Unfortunately i feel obligated to write this review to warn future potential renters about the issues i faced with Dwell at the end of my tenancy. I rented a flat through Dwell for just over a year. Nothing was raised with me at check-out, and the check-out report their own inspector completed recorded every section of the property, including cleanliness and the mattress, as unchanged from the check-in inventory, with no deductions noted.<br><br>Despite that, I was later billed for cleaning and a mattress nearly two months after leaving. When I declined, I was told I'd agreed to pay on a phone call I have no record of. I disputed the charges through Reposit, submitted both inspection reports, and an independent adjudicator found in my favour, I owed nothing.<br><br>My advice to anyone renting through Dwell: keep your check-in inventory and check-out report, and read them carefully. If charges are raised that the reports don't support, you're entitled to dispute them.- 20th Jul 2026 (8 days ago)We bought our house recently through Manning Stainton as first time buyers.
