His professionalism, calm demeanor, and friendly approach throughout the entire rental process made everything so much easier and stress-free. He was always approachable and willing to help, which really made a difference. The maintenance team also deserve a mention they were proactive and efficient, ensuring that any issues were promptly addressed by the landlord. Even though Shipways no longer manages the property, I was genuinely disappointed to see them go. Their service set a high standard that’s hard to match. Highly recommend!

Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

James Powell has been excellent in the sale of our house which was not straightforward and had several setbacks along the way. However James' patient, calm and professional manner has been in evidence throughout the process. We have always felt well-informed, communication is very good and they offer a personal approach that you certainly don't find in a lot of other agencies.

8th Nov 2024 (7 mo. ago)Horrible service from Brendan didn’t return a single call or email for a week then told me all shops I was interested in have been let out. I then got a friend to call on a different number and they were all available. He then told me to pay for the application and I can have but at this point I lost all trust. I decided to speak to neighbours of the shop and contact the landlord direct which saved me £2000 in fees with royal estates. I would advise to use this company for the location then contact landlords privately to do the deal. Thank me later.
4th Mar 2025 (15 weeks ago)Absolutely disgusting by the way I have been treated at the end of my tenancy. The agency tried to take the money off my deposit for things like lighting bulb that was fully working or normal wear and tear. The people should stop trying to get the money off the tenants in such a disgusting way. Please be very careful as they lie about everything!!

This was a very sensitive sale to deal with due to the property belonging to my recently deceased mother, the whole team were nothing but compassionate, courteous and helpful in answering any questions I had along the way and the whole process was very quick. Would definitely recommend this estate agents to anyone thinking of selling. Thanks again all.

30th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)In a word ((Scammers)) Why? They will over price your property rent. However, most do that then naturally one would have to haggle them down. Not sure if there is a landlord as it might be themselves pretending there is one! And if there is a landlord the landlord has no idea what these guys do!!!!! You have your contract fees which you pay every month. But then they try and scam all there clients with made up fees! Theses are normally around £40 they say it's for water and heating. However that is covered in your contract fees!!!!!! They pocket these fee if you don't pay it and tell them you will only pay what's on the contract then they can't do anything. If your building has parking and they also want that payment separate from your contact that is also a scam!!!!!!! Don't fall victim to these guys. If you have paid them these fees for years then get that money back. Take them to court if you must. However, don't let them get away with this bad practices!!!!!!

1st Jun 2022 (3 years ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.
